I was thinking it would be really cool to have a National Parks Mod.  It would draw tourists and you would make money because in the real world you have to pay admission fees to get into the park so based on the amount of people in the park you get simoleons like the casino but the money per sim wouldnt change because of the wealth level. I was thinking that some buildings to be added are the Visitors Center, sorta like a basic tourist attraction in the game. Campgrounds and lodges that act like hotels, ranger stations that are sorta like small police stations, and trails that are like the university paths in vanilla or the pedestrian path mod. Only commercial and residential can be zoned and they are limited to only low density but are automatically upgraded to medium wealth in the park. You could "zone" the area for the park with a brush like tool. I was thinking that the tourist draw could be based on the amenities i.e. Visitor Center and Campgrounds, scenery i.e. Mountains, Ocean, Rivers and pollution i.e. less pollution = more visitors. Tell me what you think, i'm sure this is way to ambitious but I think this would be a really cool and really realistic addition to the game. Thanks-Breezz02

Hello everyone if anybody still mods this game would it be possible to change wind direction? it would really really help improve gameplay in this dying game :)

Could somebody PLEASE make a "Plazify" mod. Where you can replace the unfilled grass space at the base of buildings with a plaza or concrete texture. I hate having those annoying patches of dirt and grass in the CBD especially when you can't fit a park in there or it's an irregular shape.

I'm still modding. For your request, wind can't be changed because it requires a map "constants" modifications ; Wind is considered as a "constant". Wich the game automatically resets. Although, the best thing to do would be to create new modules with a higher electricity production rate. Do you have Cities of Tomorrow Expand pack ? If you do, I could make an extra here.

yes i do have the expansion pack,Much appreciated if something can be done and oh, is it also possible to increase the size of the radiation explosion left by a meltdown of the nuclear reactor?? like just one nuclear reactor leaving a radiation scar as big as the whole map? thank you for your time.

I can try to do this. Although, having the radiation layer spreading over all the map is going to be very difficult. I can try but there is a very slim possibility. Knowing I'm very good into modding, this might be possible, since I proved that MegaTowers can have Crowns at a certain floor level.

Man, I would love to be able to have a painter tool for textures in SC5. Unfortunately, it would requires an editing of the forest tool. I can try but thrust me, this is going to be the very hardest challenge for me. It requires : Model editing, texture editing, value modification, new properties integration, tests, and hope with hype.

thank you,it dosent have to encompass the entire map though,just bigger than the vanilla radiation scar. If there's ever a way to modify the wind direction and bigger radiation coupled with the future expansion pack.I could easily create another dystpoian/cyberpunk  city but better this time. Credits will also be given to the modders of course.

A futuristic mod that add layers to the city could be cool.

I mean, surely all you know the arcologies, the current arcologies are bored, does not requires planification, are simply entire buildings without options to add services or zones (I mean, inside the arcology itself).

A mod where you can add vertical roads, road and rail layers, more tall buildings or even interconected buildings to the city, could make capable to player to create true panified arcologies in the city.

The same could be applied to construct underground cities and subway trains.

is there a way to make the power plants to spawn their agents more frequently? i really hate the design of power distribution in this game and it sometimes makes it really hard to plan out the city properly... i guess when there would be 5x-10x as much energy agents roaming around, the power supply would be much more stable.

Yes there is. This is part of my next.

So to answer your question : Yes, you actually have 2 choices up to you which can be mixed togheter :

  1. Make new modules with higher rates but higher maintenance cost and more ressources are going to be required in order to operate the module itself.
  2. If you actually own Cities of Tomorrow DLC : The wave power plan is going to be modified soon and no more restriction on placement, plus it will uses Wind for generating the energy. :)

Greetings 

I would like a modification to the ALL RCI ploppable buildings mod(bundled with the akar ui mod interface) . I would like the rci ploppables to cost something than being free(so as to create some balancing; you can place any  building plop immediately regardless of street density and happiness(but land value deters you!) for a modest price (1k, 2k, 3k etc) or wait for it to grow on its own for free.

Would you know how to do this?

Hello, I know that I'm a bit late in playing SimCity 2013 but I like it very much. And so if it's NOT too late to ask for a mod, then here is my request.

I would like to request a mod to disable or prevent futuristic buildings and structures from automatically "futurizing" nearby or surrounding buildings and structures (except the parks). If possible, users maybe able to have an option whether those buildings and/or structures be converted to futuristic buildings or not. The reason for this is that this is the cause of all mods like changing the look or kind of patrol cars, the fire vehicles, ambulances, and choppers, are reverted back or sad to say converted back to futuristic vehicles of the COT. Converted back to default vehicles of the COT expansion pack. Most, if not all, of the buildings and structures of the COT automatically futurises nearby or surrounding strutures, and so if anyone of you knows how to "hack" the COT expansion and make this mod possible, I would appreciate it.

In fact, this will also help those modders here like those who created the patrol cars into a cool Lamborghini, and or the Hammer. With all their hard work in creating these cool mods, suddenly just turned useless if the structure, e.g. police station, is plopped near to a futuristic building, e.g. a maglev or a megatower or below the skybridge, or the reverse, these futuristic buildings just converts them back to the default like the black and white hovering patrol cars.

So, if it's not too much to ask, please someone create this mod. Even just for offline and sandbox mode.

Another request is a mod to plop airship hangers multiple times. Not just the commuter airships, but the whole airship hangers/station be able to plop multiples times, similar or the same as we are able to plop a municipal airport multiple times too.

Hello there, today's time I'm writting down this message, the date is 25th November 2016.

About me : I decide to keep the modding going on in SimCity 2013. As you may have noticed (or going to notice), I'll probably be the only few ones remaining modders on SimCity 2013. Here you can add me on Simtropolis and chat with me or even ask me questions... Well pretty much whatever you wanna do (except illegal stuff like trafficking etc.)

Is anyone still creating Mods for this game-    if so,    I sure can use a Regional Rail track ONLINE...   keep me in mind if you can make one of these tracks.

you can fix the resources problem? ex> there is a huge oil thing on ground i build the oil factory but the game keep sayin there is no resource there
idk if is your addon but this thing starts after i put the mod addon or whatever you wanna call, 3k maps to make huge and no boarders

and i have a doubt, the resource on the ground, is possible to modify? i mean put on entire map all the resources (all the types excpet water) to avoid search some place and sometimes have to destroy something to put the factory?

An air scrubber that is more ground level.

AKA Air Filters that are found for SimCity 4.

If I knew how to do it, create things for this game, I would be uploading a number of mods.

I know that with Cities Of Tomorrow there are Air Scrubbers, but those are on on top of the Mega building. Something that is Ground Scrubber, but for the air.

My mods doesnt work i reinstalled all of them 1 by 1 and doesnt work, i tried on SimCityData and on Packages folder.

Any way for RCI Plop to have the option to plop down the growables in their futurized state and make them stay that way? Plus a quickbuild feature for them like with the MegaTowers would be sweet
