aah ok .. see picture now didn't before we will look into it.. however I do not see a reason why roads would not be bulldozer capable if you use the updated mod posted even today. but we will look

I would like to ask for a mod that can remove the entry roads of the (Elite) Mega Towers. The roads remain when you demolish the towers, and cannot be removed by any means. Thanks a lot. :)

Try and connect a road to those roads and then hold ctrl and delete them. I was able to do it that way.

Jeff,

   I spoke with Guillaume and he said it was easy to mod the acceleration/deceleration but I'm not a modder, so if anyone feels like to adjusting the AI traffic acc/dec I'll certainly download & use such a mod.

Since update 7 which among many traffic fixes, sped up the speed of traffic I have always hated the effect. Traffic now looks more cartoonish than before this update. Granted speeding up the speed of traffic is meant to decrease traffic issues, but I'd like to see if modding would be possible to slow down to the original speed of AI traffic prior to update 7. 

 

It's probably not a very popular request but is it possible to mod traffic speed?

 

Yes, I agree, I think I might have requested this myself before on this thread. I think that traffic just goes waaaay to fast. And who knows, maybe slower traffic will help, not faster traffic. But if it's too hard to mod, it's okay.

I was working on true speed ( ). I stopped when I discovered that acceleration doesn't apply only to vehicles and sims, so it's more difficult than I thought initially.

In order to do mods like true speed or realistic speed, I need other modders to tell me what the unnamed agent instances are, if they studied them.

I tried to connect a high density 4 lane road to each of them, but it will not connect. Sometimes, it connects but is not visible. When I then try to bulldoze, it cannot find it. Were you able to bulldoze them IN the 2k city block? It's true that mine are next to the 2k block.

Is there a way to have free controll over the camera? I saw BOC doesnt work anymore after patch 7.2. Is there another mod out there that does the same? I have Akar and Orion but that doesnt let me look around freely.

 

(I absolutely love all the mods on this website btw, made simcity a lot less cringeworthy)

Hi again,

As I was planning to create a city with only Udon roads, I would like to request an 8 lane avenue, and an 8 lane streetcar avenue, for them to connect to respectively a 6 lane, and 6 lane streetcar avenue.

I am not so sure about with a streetcar, but as you can see, an eventually 8 lane avenue would be just as wide as the default high density avenue.

However, Simmies do not really seem to be able to use the extra lane efficiently as you can see here.

Maybe one of the empty lanes can be made to use by emergency vehicles only?

Is there a mod that increases the parking capacity of the Pro Stadium? Or perhaps one that eliminates the roads that are automatically added on the sides? It's so frustrating, having to work around the limitations of the design of that structure.

I'm interested in reading this tutorial and others that are made available. If there were tutorials on how you mod, maybe you would find more people to help. I would be interested in modding if I knew how.

My short term wishlist which concerns Project Orion

  1. The ability to remove trees in the region or have them disappear when laying down roads/buildings.
  2. Being able to plop service buildings outside the original city limits in Claim Overlook and Mustang Run in the Titan Gorge region.
  3. New regions that are more suitable for Project Orion.

hi, i don't know if its been asked yet, but could someone tweek the Nissan Electric Cars building please.

atm can place 5 max. mine tend to cap at 25 sims serviced.

there good for that quick burst to get the low density to jump to medium but after that quick happiness wave when you place them they become useless, no more happiness bonus for use (even though it was said they produce happiness when used) but still cause unhappyness when removed.

 

Can someone make them so they at liest have some use after that initial wave of happiness they produce, say land value increase for example.

They continue to produce happiness for years (simmed years). Sims go to re-charge instead of shopping and leave with happiness. 1 recharging station takes the place of 1 C$$ commercial building in terms of happiness provided. Watch with your Residential filter (F10) for a few minutes and you'll see sims with money (yellow) pull in and leave with happiness (green).

I notice, especially in tourism cities with a lot of foot traffic, traffic can get stuck behind swarms of tourists crossing the streets/avenues. In Vegas, there are many overpasses for pedestrians to use to cross the streets. Could a ploppable overpass thing be made that can be put down on streets (sort of like a streetcar stop) that will allow pedestrians to walk over?

I think I'm the only one whom understands the resource mapping issue.. so I'm now in the process of explaining it to others whom write and do tutorial and documentation.. so be patient.. we got a lot going on.

 

We just finally got parklets 2.1 finished and should release that and julias new freeway mod tomorrow and are now working on some requested items which include billboards before we get working on agriculture parklets.

I would also like to see a true pedestrian bridge. A nice compact little thing that can plop on a road or over a railway without taking up huge amounts of space. Something like Oppie's elevated train station would be good, and a pedestrian underpass would be another option and possibly easier for modders to make because most of it would be underground.

 

If we could connect pedestrian paths to either side of the bridge without creating a normal pedestrian crossing on the road then that would be even better.

Is there any way to make a mod that will allow you to plop a completed great work in an Orion City? Also, I would like to see a mod that allows you to place fully completed and self sufficient MegaTowers. Oh, and also, is there a way to make mods for the utilities that will allow for permanently clean and endless water, power and  one-plop sewer and garbage disposal.

 

I am soooo loving what the modding community is doing to make this game more playable and fun. I wish there was a tutorial course on how to create mods. I would be very happy to assist in testing upcoming mods before public release also. Just inbox me. Thanks galore!!!
