Only temporarily.  Now there is no reputation system.

I find it interesting that the rep system would need to be "down for maintenance" for this kind of time as I never perceived it as being that complex.

 

But, perhaps some of the presentation is being modified?

Well, too many people loved the rep system so much, they all tried to log on our servers and then we've had to shut them down.

To ease the load on our servers, we've disabled non essential functions of the rep system, like the rep system.

With any luck, and the creeks don't rise, it can stay down until the panic ends, which I suspect will be around the middle of September.  That thing must have entries in several data bases, and I can certainly live without it.

First things first: we’ve been making great strides towards improving our Reputation System.

 

We've added several new Reputation Servers the past couple of days -- including the addition of Antarctica today!

 

What does this mean? We’ve beefed up our Reputation System to allow for a larger capacity of concurrent +1 reps that will not only allow more +Reps per person but will also help address a lot of the zero-reputation issues we’ve been addressing.

 

Reps are finally fixed and have returned and thank you for your continued support!

Nice to have it back. Also, a surprise addition that given reputation can now be viewed (by clicking the number). I know this option was previously requested by a few people, so I'm sure it'll be appreciated.
