Is that you holding the sparkler in the middle of the TD Centre Plaza at Bay and Yonge?

Indeed it is. Good eye. Well, I'm not holding a sparkler, I'm lighting a cigarette.

It's just a printed region (using the Region Census tool to get the image). I then mark the roads (black = ordinary roads and avenues, red = highways) so I get a better overview, which helps me to construct the rest of the road network in my region. I find the aesthetics of my road network very important, so this is a great help for me :P

Whoa cool. I didn't know people did stuff like that. Seems like a good idea.

Here are some pics I took at a Taiko show a couple years ago.

@MillitantRadical: I especially like the one with you lighting it up under the towers (very dramatic angle) and the reflections by the harbour. :)

Here is yet another urban-ish pano from yours truly.  Click here to view it in full res on flickr. :D

MilitantRadical, taiko is so awesome, I love it.  In the place we used to live, the kodomo-no-kai (kids' club) practices during September to drum it up in the mountain-car thing they have for the harvest festival in October.  We moved this year, so I don't know if our new neighborhood has the same thing, but if they do we'll have one kid pounding away at the taiko this fall.

The pics in this thread are all pretty nice.

View from Telstra Tower atop Black Mountain, Canberra taken in 1998. Suitable for this site for obvious reasons. Of course back then picture quality wasn't so awesome with good old film and cheap disposable cameras

Cpt Johnny: Damn! I ant to go there. It looks amazing!

Mark Cochan: And yet people buy expensive cameras now and then throw things on instagram to replicate that same effect :P Neat pic though. It's cool how places change over just 15 or so years.

These are some more ones that I've taken recently. I like to think that my photography is improving, this is just going to take some time :)

Well this is a more recent photograph so no cool Instagramesque feel. Took it today, actually. I rode from Emsworth to Petersfield and back in Hampshire. This is a picture of an interesting church I took in Clansfield.

Thanks Jazz, I love your panoramas. They remind me of some of the timelapses I've done.

Sweet, Thanks. I only just discovered a love for Taiko in the past few years. It comes from watching Battlestar Galactica, which uses a lot of Taiko in the soundtrack.

Now time for something a little different. This may not exactly be the right place for a video, but since this video I made has a lot of Time Lapse photography I figured I'd share it with you. Shot in Toronto and Hong Kong.

The women at 1.14, with their pram, it makes me think a bit of the iconic Eisenstein movie 'Battleship Potjomkin' (the famous scene with the stairs of Odessa). I know it's a bit ridiculous, but hey, free association :) Nice video from you!

Holy crap, mega photo dump! Sweet Landscapes Ion_Cannon. Hard to pick out my favs from that bunch they are all really great. I think I'll go with the photo shot through the window, the one with the crow, and the waterfalls in the last pic.
