Actually, before enlarging city size, the main issue is server stability.

I feel so so disappointed about the NEW game

But it is a easy way to earn money

Now their target is the one not really and lowe expectations on game

Just better picture, look good, not really use your brain to do it

What I play 2013 is like I get the simsociety it is for kids, or just like the stupid fB game,

I get it and play 6hr and refund

more and more game like these, not just 2013, but still so many people buy and take the bill

It is not the money problem for we as customer,is about do u support the game company

I rather they get a simcity RH HD or upgrade something.

Maybe I was feed well as simcity 4 or my expection so high, or I am stupid, I don't know

But facing these kind smart game 2013,d3 something like that I really can't say wow what a good game, and spend lots of time on it.

Sorry for my bad English, but I really feel upset how the NEW game.

To summarize the current problem of the game:

* Server instability

* Sudden connection lost

* No save option. Only saved in EA servers.

(Got the information from apparently a moderate amount of reviews and comments).

Yea, EA really needs to do A LOT of tweaking. I also saw some road bugs with this brown trapezoid in the side of the road. Or maybe my eyes are failing me again? Beats me, but yea.

The only game EA has done well was The Battlefield series, most notable Battlefield 3, but im sure most of that good work had to do with DICE and not actual EA.

Anyways on to the topic of this Simcity, its gonna suck. Just being honest.

Why are we worried about when they will turn off the servers? As long as people keep playing Simcity EA will not turn off the servers.

Looking at the launch it seems the servers are being turned off earlier than anyone expected.

I don't know what those brainless maniacs called EA were thinking of making a game with so many frequent server crashes and little borders, but I can see a good future for simcity though (not this one, the next one) Come on EA. I mean, I wouldn't mind waiting a few more years to perfect the game. I like the graphics though, but first comes gameplay.

    wrong, a lot mroe is wrong, pathetic tile size, lack of control over transportation connecting cites in the region, no traffic query tool, poor traffic coding, again (NAM fixed much of this in SC4).

    The final thing that annoys me is very little customization is allowed. Which basically renders the Simtropolis File Exchange useless for the new game. Great now they can make a ton of money off of DLC! Customization was the one thing that made me like pc over game consoles.

    There was no mods for SC4 either when it came out - over time people worked out ways to do it.... and people are trying to find out if its possible in the new game too ... it needs time.

    Simcity 4 wasn't required to be connected to Ea's server to run. The only way modding is going to be possible is if Ea puts out a patch to allow it, they allow you to play without being connected to their servers, or someone figures out how to hack the game so you can play it offline. I don't see any of the options available any time soon.

    “The American city should be a collection of communities where every member has a right to belong. It should be a place where every man feels safe on his streets and in the house of his friends. It should be a place where each individual's dignity and self-respect is strengthened by the respect and affection of his neighbors. It should be a place where each of us can find the satisfaction and warmth which comes from being a member of the community of man. This is what man sought at the dawn of civilization. It is what we seek today.”

    Battlefield 3 couldn't hold a candle to the intense fun of Battlefield 1942 Desert Combat Mod by Trauma Studios. I've never had so much fun in an FPS in my life. Those were the days.

    They got bought out by DICE (subsidiarity of EA) and gutted.

    I sadly never played battlefield 1942. However BF3 is still much better than Call of Duty

    Something I don't think anyone has really highlighted properly but has been incredibly obvious watching the live streams.. the fact you only have 1 highway access point which creates a really bad bottleneck of traffic. I mean seriously? The fact you can't actually place highways is one thing but only having 1 access point so you get a bottleneck is just ridiculous; it reminds me of SO many games where I thought to myself "did they actually test this game before declaring it finished"? They must have known it would be a problem :/

    Agreed. At least CitiesXL allowed us to place multiple "intercities". lol.

    The server problems are terrible, but the real victims are the millions of helpless sim-men and sim-women:

    They need to update the video with 4.0 by the way. Liked that one. :)
