Mods not working when patches & updates are issued for games is common place in games, & usually the mod maker will update their mods for any changes if active. It is far more important for the developers to improve their product don't you think.

For those who watched Let's Plays - What did you think?

I wish you luck finding a better City Builder than this. -

To report bugs you would have to go to the Support & Bug Reports forum in the Cities Skylines forums on Paradox's forums. It maybe that some of the bugs discovered are because you are using the whole 25 tiles, rather than the 9 suggested by Colossal Order, They have said they only support the use of using 9 tiles & that if you use more that is up to the individual. -
What do you want in Cities: Skylines?
zorkman replied to AidanA28's topic in Cities: Skylines General Discussion
The trouble with having day & night is that even on the slowest level a day only lasts 10 seconds, & unlike other city builders all the citizens in the game are real, so it would be pointless having night time every five seconds for it to be realistic.- 307 Replies

I think it is quite shocking how the last two versions have 93% between them of being the worst in the series. EA/Maxis should be utterly ashamed of themselves. Great series destroyed by greed & incompetence. At least Cities Skylines seems to be here to take up the baton finally from Sim City 4.

Still more playable than the latest incumbent of the series.

Cities: Skylines Announced (Release date 10th March)
zorkman replied to Mav12's topic in Cities: Skylines General Discussion
There is a very active board on the Paradox site for this game, which is a positive, & shows the interest in the genre. As you have also noticed the developers are really hands on & willing to answer questions about the game.- 165 Replies

Cities: Skyline; A new City Simulator Announced By Paradox

You don't have to buy them. They also release updates at the same time which are free, & can play a great game without buying any DLC's which don't make your game any less. CK2 is a typical example of this. -
Cities: Skylines Announced (Release date 10th March)

Paradox is my favourite company, I know they aren't officially making it, but they will give good support to the developers, who have a good record. No wonder EA are advertising free time to play that other failure.- 165 Replies

It is really good & a good challenge on hard. With me in charge anyway. Poor dears are probably going to starve to death as we are running out of food. Funny how one man made this addictive game, whilst a multi million pound organisation with a cast of thousands made a monstrosity like Sim City 2013. For once inventiveness defeats greed.

Perhaps someone might mention to him how he has managed to make a playable game on his own without ripping anyone off, which seems to be beyond EA/Maxis & their multi millions. I think this sort of thing really shows up these charlatans for what they are.

I agree that last one is truly dreadful. I like how the truck seemed to float in the air all the time. Looked great on the Sinclair Spectrum & C64, but is hardly a cutting entry now on modern machines.

It is similar to Age of Empires, but reminds me more of a very updated version of the old Kingdom games that were around in the dawn of computer gaming.

I think the lack of water is an issue in my present game. I was slowly building the city up & adding things when there was a need, usually from the advisers whining. They clamour for power, police, fire, hospitals, schools etc, but for some weird reason no one seems to be at all vocal there is no water. Very strange, as in real life that and power would be a persons number one priority. Even the Sims show little interest, just prattling on about minor things. I better put in a water tower or two (:-
