This update rocks!! How on earth do you manage to get that much variety in a skyline? It really enhances the realism of it, well done! and congrats with Mandursuro hitting 3 million residents!35.gif35.gif35.gif35.gif35.gif

More superb work! I'm not sure if that skyline could get much bigger - it's huge! I like the attention you pay to the transport network - the tidiness of digging tunnels etc.

Great stuff!

Wow, I like the nre region pic, looks like a nice design! Reminds me of some of my past creations. Really, looks like some good process and good luck continuing!

Great CJ, nice update, impressive variation of buildings.   I enjoy looking at your skyline and think which of those skyscrapers will one day be built in my city. But that's for the very distant future, for now, I'm thinking small-scale and I'd just like to know: what's that trapezoid tower in West Side (last pic but one, right-hand side)? I like that too.

Hey, this is a really nice region!  I'm only half way through the journal but I thought I'd comment anyway.  The golf course was cool, and the sunken roads, and the beach front, and the way you devided the suburban area with highways.

Well, I'll probably comment again when I've read the rest of the journal 29.gif

    You have a nice region

How come it seems that your industry is not in the same region as your actual cities? Also does your monorails lead from your towns to your downtown area. because I usually just use rails for the suburbs to lead to my downtown are. It is less expensive. I usually use monorails and subways around my downtown and high density districts.

thanks for the compliments, mayorwoodman and exgamer07

exgamer07: my industry is in the same region as the rest of my cities, just far away, actually you just revealed to everyone part of my new update, yes ill have industry in Santa Terra.  a monorail ring is around downtown and is only going to be in use for core area, same with subway. Light rail is going to extend to suburbs for travel to downtown, i just havent gotten to building suburbs around Santa Terra yet.

I like the way you used those NDEX BATs, along with the PDA BATs, too! Oh, and the baseball stadium could benefit from a new parking garage or two, to save space. The west side expansion should be cool...
Are you making a new skyline, or are you going to keep it all in the CBD?

    SC4, Forevermore!

Currently preoccupied with architecture school...lurking with caution.

sorry, i will probably not have an update today.  i am having a problem with any new area of residential i try to create.  as many of you know, there is a bug that a 'no road zot' pops up on a new residential building then goes away. the problem with mine is some of those 'no road zots' are not going away until the building abandons due to no road (which there is). its some bug but i cant seem to figure out how to fix it.  until i figure out this bug, i will not be able to update8.gif.  if anyone has an idea, please tell, thanks
