also could we display uint32 values as hex since so far all unit32 values i seen are links to other propertyID's

this is especially noticeable in mnu instances

where this array "0x0eb1fc22" contains links to propertyID's in the instance it's for


Weird things seems to get easier the more i do it... is that a bug?

I must be blind as I'm not seeing any way of saving changes whilst inside the simcitypak program. I exported a js file to it's own package and made a couple changes, but how do I save? oO

where does prop id 0x0e546792 get its value from?

It works, I have a modified script_## file in my userdata/packages and after one roll back if you go back into the city you get the change. I have no exodus and one building right now with 9000 happiness. ^_^

Perhaps it would be easier if the registry sharing was done over the Internet and built into SCP. basically something like a git repository, and when you have added some entries you click publish, it uploads the changes to the repo (using a git repo means if something goes wrong the changes can be rolled back). Then everyone else's SCP will check for new additions periodically and it will add then automatically? (Something probably to think about more in the future?)

gha This is anoying that i cant find the things i added so i decided to turn my InstanceRegistry and TypeRegistry into a csv

potorium, have you manged to isolate the happiness change to a separate package? You were going to try to get the HD files plus children or something?

nah got side tracked. but i think it will just need its children and the er2bin or the effects file ? or whatever the file type is that makes the script package a script.

package.

 

there is just one none prop file in the script package, and im assuming that its some sort of control code on how the props in the package are to be swallowed by the games data registry (assuming database). i need to do a full download to test packages out. my dir is ripped to pieces :(

 

was hoping someone with more mod package creation abilities might try :D my computer knowledge is 95% guesswork ;) will deff have a go though if no one else fancies trying to strip a lean script package mod together

messed up w2->w3.  would never happen. also i have to put this into eco folder and make it read only

you have to load the game, start a city, quit totally and reload for it to take effect. is a super speed w1->w3 with increased happiness container size so the sims dont race out of town as fast, no idea what the max value for the float is in the game, or at least useable in the property.
