    Hello dear Simtropia visitors !!!

Time for some quick shoots on my actuall SC4 city...you can call them work in progress...

In that city I try to create a realistic and credible river stream, which is born in the perpetual snows up the mountains, and descends to the main river...I hope you like the actual situation, whcih is the basis for this project.

The stream (all four posible views)

This is a very nice effect. It's looks like it's paint shopped. Am I correct. Will this be something your going to incorporate into your plop water flora set?

It's really cool (pardon the pun) how the river comes out the side of the snowcapped mountain and slides down the cliff face.

    Well done..

Okay jeronij another fantastic couple of updates.   I still am in awe of your rural farm land.   It is absolutely stunning.

Jeronij said: Gaston, also good news about those rocks. Keep an eye on the STEX....38.gifquote>

I'm still looking for your rocks.2.gif   LOL    BUT, I did find some others today before I came in here.   LOL   I then noticed you commented on them.   9.gif

I do have another question though.    In the below picture...

...Is that a drive-in movie theater???????   Right there at the bottom, slightly right of center????

Cause it sure looks like one.  And if so where did it come from?????    (And my girlfriend wants to know what is playing?  LOL)     Hmmm, too bad I drive a little

pick-up truck or I could sneak a bunch of people in there in the trunk of my old car.   17.gif

Enough questions for now.    Thanks alot for the updates.

Gaston. That Movie Theater is a Maxis Creation. Just zone a 4x4 Commerical lot. I find that High Density grows them more often then other 2.

jeronji: First visit here and I love it. Keep up the great work.

Hihi jeronij... I am totally impressed with the bridges over the valley! They look awesome, and the scenery is simply stunning... the great choice of trees, the flexible use of ploppable water and the style of the bridges you use makes a really nice picture! And street bridge looks lovely! 36.gif

Looks like you doesn't only have talents in making suburbs and downtowns, but also in making wonderful rural areas and natural landscape. Keep it up!

    Hello dear SImtropia visitors !!!

Time for another set of work in progress pics.  Since it seems you like the waterfall I am actually creating, here comes two mosaics of it.

The first mosaic shows the north area of the city, aproximately at the half of the mosaic starts the waterfall and the stream.

CLICK ON THE PICS FOR FULL SIZE VIEW   (HIGLY RECOMMENDED)

Because the stream is not straight, I made a second mosaic showing the south part of the stream. This part is only pre-designed, as you may notice, and many details have to be added yet. I hope you dont mind it too much 2.gif

Finally I´d like to show you some of the (again !!!!) custom stuff I created for that waterfall/stream.

    newlots01dx1.jpg

The set is composed of three lots ( actually, maybe I´ll expand it). From left to right:

Transparent water foam effect ( founded in the deeps of SC4 files)

Transparent base surface to underground water tunnel entrance ( rural style)

Transparent base undergound to surface water tunner entrance ( rural style)

    See them in action 3.gif

    Surface to underground

    Undergound to surface

    newlots03gy4.jpg

I hope you like the pics. And I hope you like the custom lots. Unfortunately I dont have the time now to answer every one of you personally. My son, my wife, my life....9.gif .  I am sure you will feel responded with this BIG BIG THANKS to all for having had the time to leave a nice support post. Even more those days, when the CJ section is so so active !!! too much for a 37 like me 46.gif

ussagus, I remember there was a "crop circled" farm in the STEX some time ago. Not sure if this is available anymore though.

wngn, no my friend, this is only a road-->subway transition. Hopefully, thanks to Buggi, someday that will be possible 31.gif

Sorchin , I guess your question is answered in this post....

Goin2Chicago, I just can tell you make sure the new bridges folder loads AFTER the NAM folder ( You can rename your folders for that purpose). Other that this..... Also try to draw a street bridge. Since there is only one it should show, If not, go and read the start of this answer again 2.gif

Gaston, my rocks will be released as soon as posible with the gently help of dedgreen. In the meantime, there are some great rocks recently released in the STEX !!!

Crap I missed a few. WOW WOW WOW on those bridge skins. (Well skin). I think it looks awsome. Like a roman viaduct. Too bad you cant do that bridge with those paths and make it an old trail. Now that would be cool. Also awsome with the new grates and warter fall. The only thing is I dont think it looks right haveing the mountain snow-topped. Ah well awsome work!

    Hi my friend.

I guess you've started again  2.gif  , haven't noticed that really, I'm not hanging around here as much as I did before, kinda lost the interest... but... since you've started again there might be a chance that I'll start playing again, you get a lot of new ideas seeing all your pics. They're lovely!

I know you like details (just look at your new model 2.gif  )  and so do I, so please just continue with your work!

    Regards.
