Hi, In update 19 there are some really cool euro-type buildings in that small town you made, the ones with the multi-coloured roofs, I was wondering where I could find those? Any help would be great2.gif

This new computer I'm on has been causing me trouble! It's taken me 5 times to try to reply to you!!! 6.gif15.gif Anyways, can't wait for more great updates!

I just wanted to post an advertisement for gmavignier.

Also I am glad to announce a new release in the STEXPlopable Dusktrooper trees one

Well, before all of this mess (my computer crashing), I figured out how to work with some of the rocky shores. But recently, I haven't been able to because Simcity 4 isn't on my new computer yet... As soon as I get Simcity 4, I'll try to see what I can do with those rocky shores. It appears that I need straight shores... Do I need straight shores? When I was practing with the shores, I noticed some of the rocky shores can over lap each other. Anyways, thanks for the help. 44.gif

    Hi Jeronij,

Wow that was quite some pages I had to read. Enjoyed every one of them, I believe it were 8.
Great industrial areas. Maybe you should add somewhere a huge flower farm to supply daily new flower beds to this industrial area, ha, ha, ha. It would solve your problem.
Don't you have a huge air polution problem? That huge cooling tower produces some heavy air pollution and that Cable Inc next to it (well accros the street) is a smoking devil as well. I noticed you added some water purification plants, but the air in that area must be horrendous.

I love those ships. It's a pity that it belongs to somebody else and that you may get into troubles when uploading them on STEX. I would certainly use them as I dislike the ingame ships. So would I encourage you to upload them? Tempting.........2.gif

I recently played a bit with harbours in my region, but gosh i find it difficult and time consuming (of which I have so little) and that makes me awe at your creations even more. Everything (even the polluting areas) are so much in harmony. Did I say you are a genious?

Keep those updates coming and we will awe and drool a bit more.

    Nik-Nik

PS oh yeah and a happy new year to all of you (this is my first comment in 2006)

    Hi jeronij,

No that picture does not belong to your CJ but a picture from the STEX. Your pictures are too pretty I don't want to do anything with it 29.gif

    Hello, Jeroni.

The building I am referring to is in Picture 24.01, in the lower right-hand corner.  Here is a picture of the specific building:

    Hello dear Simtropia visitors !!!

Today it is time for a BIG update 2.gif. So lets start with no more delay 9.gif...

    UPDATE 25
THE REFINERY - FAMOUS LAST WORDS....

25.01  Everything that has a start must have an end. Lets see the last detailed pics around the refinery area. The cracking towers.

    u25rfn015td.jpg

25.02 The road over rail bridge. ( Fortunately, the last NAM version fixes the sidewaks bug in the on slope pieces and my last concrete walls version solves the staired fences in the slopes 3.gif. Those improvements will be seen in the incoming city of Peraires, introduced in this update)

    u25rfn024tx.jpg

25.03 The distilling plants. The refined products are storaged in the nearby tanks for pipeline distribution, or charged into trains for regional distribution.

    u25rfn031ix.jpg

25.04 A close up (with a better view on the details IMO) on the cracking towers.

    u25rfn047ap.jpg

25.05 And lest go even closer.... I love those BIG smokestacks 3.gif

Great work on the refinery amigo! Full of details and custom lots!
In pic. 25.05 can I ask you for a link to that big beige building with the big smokestack!
I can hardly wait to see more of Peraires, it already looks promising!
    Take care my friend! 44.gif

Sometimes I just get lost in the detail. I like the new bridges and the rail lines. I really like in when the roads and lots are on slopes. Love the close up photos!

    Good Lord, Jeroni.

    Where do I start!

What an EXCELLENT update.  My eyes have been hurting just trying to take it all in!

I am SO VERY IMPRESSED with your refinery.  You have inspired me to see if I can build one of my own.  Such fun this will be.

First of all, thank you for your answer concerning the building I was asking about.  I have to assume that it is either a standard building that comes with SC4 or, it is on a site other than Simtropolis as I could not find it on the STEX.

    Refinery
    25.01 through 25.07
Your attention to detail is phenominal.  I get so lost viewing your beautiful pictures.  I spend so much time taking in all of the visual information you've presented.  Just when I think I've seen it all, I discover something else that draws my eye.

When I look at your refinery pictures, I am very much reminded of driving past the refineries in Philadelphia on the way to/from the Philadelphia International Airport.  There are parts of the road that are directly against the refinery as yours is.  At one time, there was a horrific fire in the refinery that closed the road.  It was quite a problem getting to the airport as the road was one of the main arteries to and from it.

    25.08 and 25.09
You know how I feel about your overview pictures.  Such a wonderful way to view the entire area.  They really give a sense of proportion to what you've created.

    Peraires
Very nice introduction to the overall setting of Peraies in the Simtropia region.

    25.10 and 25.11
Nice use of SimGoober's canals.  Will your canal system be recreational in nature or will it support industry of its own?

    25.12 and 25.13
I really appreciate your including picture of the way you plan your areas -- terraforming, transit networks, etc.  It is a very nice view into your mind and its creativity.

    25.14 and 25.15
I believe this to be my favorite area so far in Peraires.  I LOVE that hill and its surrounding landscaping.  What a wonderful view from its summit.  I would be a bit concerned about staying there too long, though, given your comment about radioactivity.  Just how many Rads per hour would one absorb if they stayed there for a length of time?

    25.16
I see you're busy with your creating irregular seaports again!  2.gif

I am very interested in seeing how this area develops.  If it will be anything as good and detailed as the refinery, then I'm sure we are all in for a treat!

    Great update, Jeroni.

    Regards,

    Vandy
