wow, even in this young phase some parts look like u've been workin' on them since months46.gif

but the wind farm is a little bit small compared to real ones2.gif anyway, these few people don't need the power of 50 nuclear powerstations18.gif

I'm not sure. Either a major development spread for jeronij, or an improvement. Not sure which. 48.gif

Sloppet,
Got any progress with the statistics? I couldn't tell which one I was on the last one. 9.gif

Hoping for and update,
Slowhand 40.gif

Hi: to Sloppet.
I see you put in a lot of work here. It seems like you're taking over, don't do that. Let jeronij lead this CJ. This is a fantastic CJ and I understand that you like it, but relax for one sec.

...And jeronij, lovely update. Those farms are beautiful. Tell me a place where to find these kind of places IRL and I'll go there, and stay.

Hi there Jeroni!

Building has started! Congratulations!
I like your farming style a lot, I'm curious to see if you'll detail it as beautifully as you did with Sa Pusa for example. Keep the creativity coming and have fun! 1.gif

Regards,

p.s.: Sloppet, your enthusiasm is great, but as your own statistics show: you post more than twice as much as Jeroni himself does! Enthusiasm is great, but don't take over Jeroni's CJ.. 20.gif His creations will draw attention and replies themselves, no help is needed.. 2.gif

i don't think he was trying to make a big deal out of it, but when i loaded the page no jeronji update
on page 10 but 3 Sloppet posts so i think people might start getting a little
aggitated when they update their cj's and have them fall back real quick thats all
no one wants you to stop posting, maybe just 2 replies per update2.gif. just my 2 cents

Anyways the city is looking great jeronij and i would comment more but
its all been said by Sloppet (jk) but seriously the master planning is cool
and it seems like you have a great idea of where you want this region to go.

keep up the fantastic work.

    Hello dear Simtropia visitors.

Some of you asked if I was going to use the plopable water in Simtropia. The answer is yes. And to demonstrate it, here you have some pictures of the first time I used it there. A small pond. I hope you like it !!!

cool use those water lily things really give it a cool and unique touch
plus the elms look cool too, you've chosen such an intresting
variety of flora for your region there are like a dozen tree types
very nice attention to those details.

    Jeronij-

Ok, now you've done it, really opened up a can of worms.  I love the ploppable water you have added to your region, but now I have a ton of questions.  I've been reading about ploppable water off and on, so if you know of another thread someplace where it would be easier for me to find the answers to my questions, I would love it of you could point me in that direction.  Now the questions:

    1.  Where did you get the boat ramps?  Those are so very cool...I want some!

    2.  I see some unidentifable white stuff in the last two pictures you posted, both at the edges of the water.  What is this?

    3.  Does ploppable water have to be bounded by rock or walls?  In cities, yes, rivers are usually confined to thier banks with walls or levees, but in the wild, the terrain isn't built.  I like the idea of creating lots of unbuilt open spaces in my regions, and so would like to be able to create a more natural looking shoreline.

    4.  How does one manage to join a ploppable water source to a non-ploppable water source?  IRL, all water eventually ends up in the ocean.  Lakes have inlets and outlets, rivers have headwaters and confluences where they join with other rivers, and deltas where they join the sea.  Has anyone yet figured out how to create a more realistic watershed?

    5.  Has anyone made marsh tiles, or wetland tiles?

    6.  When building objects that go over plobbable water, does one need the Rain Mod to fill in underneath the object?  Or when using plobbale water are we limited to using only those objects that are part of the plop tile set?

    7.  Lastly, not related to ploppable water, I have noticed some of your streets are different from those in the game.  Your sidewalks are away from the roads in a number of places, you have what appear to be cul-de-sacs, and I see a roundabout.  How do you do that?

    jeronij

I have to say this plopable water is really realistic! Did you used Photoshop or some graphic program to make those pictures better. Well, I don't think so, but it looks like you did... The first picture: It's very nice! The water looks really great, but where did you get this bridge out there?? Is it some kind of plopable bridge? Well, it looks like... And where is the shadow from the bridge on the lefs side? Well, this plopable water looks just great! The trees around it are very realistic! And on the second picture alm,ost everything is great! But Those boats are just magnificent! Hmm, wait a second... Ah yes! Those boats are also on the first picture! Nice... And what can we say about the third picture... Well, we can say a lot, but making long things short, it's just great!2.gif BTW, I'll not reply to every post of you people, so you can comment here without and fears that I'll come from around the corner and post a reply aftre your one, or two posts 47.gif48.gif

    Regards,
    Sloppet

    Hello dear Simtropia visitors !!!

Thanks for your pleasant comments about the plopable water. I am glad you like it. I really enjoyed making this pond, even when it took more than one hour of work 46.gif2.gif !!!

I forgot to post a regional view, where you can see the actual region development as well as where the pond is located. I hope you like the teaser 31.gif

Very nice updates (46.gif 3 updates since my last visit 46.gif)

Love the idea of the large windpark. Have you seen Criquette's Powerplant accomplishment?
I love the idea of a large powerplant with powerlines going to all corners of the region. Here's a picture of it:

    powerplant.JPG

He also used the power transformers, I believe from Subgrav ( https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/details.cfm?id=12629 )

Now the only thing that has to be done now is to make plopping of the powerlines in rural industry lots possible. Maybe some idea for all you batters out there? (This should be posted in the custom content I know 43.gif).

Looking forward to the next update (and to Sloppet's comment of course 2.gif )

Ploppable water... interesting idea. It's usually quite difficult to terraform a nice lake or pond. And I love the natural look of the pond in your picture.

    hey jeronij

this is the fast growing cj ever , its unfair 3.gif

no joking , you deserve it
i really like the use of the ploppable water

one question though : I see you are using gizmo's waterplants on the plopable water , i'm wondering how you did that , because if you download gizmo's waterplant mod you get the crappy water in it too (my opinion though)

do you know how to get rid of the water and only using the waterplants ?
