Before you ask: Yes, yes I did just go there.

After the sad death of the RSA, and new trend is emerging on Simtropolis! Ponies! Anyway, I just thought that MLP deserved an official dedicated off-topic thread instead of the random: "Why is everyone into My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic?" thread.

Also, if anyone has any problems with this thread let me know. As well, the title of this trend isn't official I think so ideas are needed unless you like the current name.

It's not necessarily a fad. And it's definitely not limited to just ST.

Element: I wouldn't call it that needlessly fancy acronym. Just say "official brony thread" or something. A member list, again isn't needed. As bronys can be anyone. It's not a club you have to join. Why not some talk about the show in the first post. To at least inform others about it. Honestly I kind of liked the naturalness of how the other thread started. Seemed to kinda just slowly bleed its way into ST rather than pop up one day.

Okay, okay. I have to agree with you on that, a thread which just talked casually about the show was actually quite nice. I'll probably remove the member list or something and change it to "Anyone who is a Brony" instead.

Bye bye, Jack. We bronies will miss your acerbic wit. I am only a fringe member because, while I love horses, little pink ones are not to my fancy. My new avatar says the kind of horse I really like, namely large draft horses. On the other hand, I also admire quarter horses, both in equestrian demonstrations and racing.

Does anyone remember the scenes from war-time Paris that showed a Renault of one horse power? Le voiture became un fiacre, eh bien? Man is adaptable especially if he has the horse.
