Well, Hearts and Hooves day is out everypony, and it seems we have a new canon alicorn (apparently). :)

My theory about that alicorn and her prince-boyfriend (he's either a pegasus or earthpony; my guess is pegasus) is that they lived during the pre-Celestia era, and that when they used the potion, causing them to shirk their duties, which was followed by, as Sweetie Belle put it: "dragons came, a kingdom fell (presumably the kingdom of ancient Equestria, sometime after the time of the three rulers Platinum, Hurricane, and Puddinghead), and chaos reigned", I believe that's a reference to the rise of Discord into power, as Discord is a relative of dragons and is also chaos incarnate (which would literally mean that Chaos reigned in Equestria).

Also, did anypony notice the coffin-like box on the right this scene during the song + the old pony in the center who looks like he's officiating at a funeral?

PS: If that alicorn is a new one, as is quite likely imo, I think I have another character for my ever-expanding fanfic, yayz :D

The season finale today was COMPLETELY AWESOME... :D

Sonic rainboom(s), party cannon, a third alicorn, Twilight's brother, zombie bridesmaid pony... things, a new species of equinoids, a villain that makes Nightmare Moon and Discord tame by comparison, a wedding based off the British one last year, and the best songs ever... this can't be happening!
