Custom Airport Mods?

I never really messed around with Airports much never saw the point to it, up until now.I saw what some ppl did with some mods and i was just left amazed.So my question is can anyone recommend me any good modular Airports?.And my 2nd question is are these airports functional or just eye candy? will they do what the Maxis airports do? i would like to say please and thank you to anyone who replies.

There are several airport options on the STEX and LEX. Most packs are not functional. There are some functional airports available as well. This one is my favourite (on the LEX, where you'll need to register).

Airports increase the cap for commercial offices, along with affecting desirability. The airports I linked to have similar effects to the Maxis airports.

Almost all the custom modular terminals you see out there are part of the ACB-VLT Terminals and Jets Series (part 1 and 2). Furthermore, there is another outdated terminal set made by ace_bovenopdeberg and a load of extra planes.

I don't know what he was linking to, but from my understanding the most complete airport mod is the SC4D LEX Legacy Ultimate Airport Pack https://www.sc4evermore.com/index.php/downloads/download/19-transportation/7-sc4d-LEX-legacy-ultimate-airport-pack. It combines, updates, and standardizes a bunch of popular airport content.

It currently includes all LEX mods and mods that were supposed to be present in the LEX but were only uploaded to STEX. When we have disposed of the crisis this modpack will undergo an update that includes other mods
