Welcome back, everyone.

Thanks for being really patient and supportive the last few days, it really helped! While it wasn't an overly difficult transition things did go pretty smoothly though I did underestimate how long the actual final data conversion would take, our early tests were a bit quicker, however, I didn't consider the added time that would be necessary to do the whole set of data including polls and attachments as well as the 300k of archived posts and threads that were overlooked.

At any rate, we're mostly back. Check out the new features. There's plenty of things that are different than ST6, but hopefully that will be a good thing. The smell of new paint will be in the air for a while as we add finishings and polish and tie up loose ends.

I would like to apologize in advance to those who may not be pleased with the new changes; I'm sorry, I hope you get used to it, we're always refining as we go, so I hope you give it a chance.

You will also notice some glaring omissions right away. For one, we have no homepage yet! That will likely be up this weekend. Your medals, custom labels and other goodies that you've earned will also return in the next days including your points - which will be a little bit different this time around.

19,399,190 million STEX downloads since 2008 (that's how far the logs went back anyway).

Who got the last word? Blue Lightning, managed to get in the very last post of ST6. His post, consisted simply of "Good bye." was the last thing saved to the ST6 database with a timestamp of 11:59:39 PM EST.

Yeh, the Omnibus will arrive soon, I should have mentioned that.

I know things are slow right now, but it's just getting hit up a lot more than usual. It will smooth out over time.

i can't wait till im directed to simtropolis.com instead of the fourms... it would be nice if the screenshot popped up or wasn't hidden behind a screenshot link when browsing files on the stex though and was maybe enlarged a bit... overall looks great

oh, and how do you get it to show you the font instead of adding the code in... i liked it better like it was

Awesome job I must say. The Simtropolis website has always needed a new face. And now it has one. Hopefully the new features introduced will be greatly implemented. I know that the journey (update) is not just finished yet, however at least you have an admiring audience which supports you, & everyone who helped. Not matter, thanks for the update.

The new ST looks more easy to navigate and all kinds of handy features have been added. The style is overall pretty similar to the previous ST.

However its nice to see ST back up again. Thank you for all the good work!
