M'dear I don't think I've posted here recently... although I don't think there's been a full update since then either. Oh well I shall comment anyway!

Anyway I've seen some of those pictures that you showed me in chat or on MSN but, I think they're back in the thread too... yeah. That one with the suburbs, and the suddenly-ending/uncomplete freeway. Yeah I really liked that one. You knew that though. Oh well. I still like it; lovely.

Oh yeah, that region shot. Loved it. It's quite a water-based area - I guess I really didn't expect that (did you show me that picture a while back too? I feel like you did but I don't remember it. Oh well it's probably just my aging mind...). But I like it, nonetheless. It kindof reminds me of Stockholm in an obscure way. Yeah... Stockholm. Oh well. I like it.

I'm gonna make sure that I never forget to post here regularly again. But that will never happen because I'm me and I will forget, so you have permission to pursue me.

I've been working on it. Not that much lately, but I have a few huge things in the works. Yesterday was my last full day of class, and I graduate on the 17th, so I spy a lot more free time on the horizon, which means more SC4.

Yea so i haven't posted here for a very long time... probably all the way back to the old old virgin shores days. Everything you have going looks amazing, especially that region shot and of course your highways.

But as for there being more to come, or should i say moar as ive seen from a couple posts, just reminds me of this Moar Ghosts N Stuff - Sorry for those of you who do not enjoy techno.

Anyways, i look forward to seeing your progress on this wonderful CJ. I believe this just might bring me back to my SC4 days yay!

My has it been a while... but hey. Now I'm graduating from high school, moving to Boston, MA in a month, and have completed or moved away from the other projects that have distracted me from SC4 for the time being, so I'm back with a new update!

Here's almost all the progress on the region so far in map form:

This update will focus on the city of Landser in the northwest. Current population, ~50k, but still growing rapidly. It is an old town build around a seaport that now forms its downtown waterfront. The city was recently entirely redeveloped from industrial to residential and commercial, and is now known for being an upscale, trendy city.

Here is a sequence of shots of Avenida Ponce De Leon (the name of which is a notable testament to the city's significant Hispanic background), one of the city's vibrant commercial streets, lined with wall-to-wall cafes and boutiques:

And a glimpse of the city's older CBD at sunrise. The east-west road in the foreground is a connector between the P214 Landser Fwy and the port so trucks can avoid downtown. Also visible are the Landser High School, Landser Medical Center, and Landser Public Library:

And interesting move, placing industrial seaports across the street from your downtown, never thought of that! Probably because I always think of my cities too cleanly. Oh well, I can always see some purdy pics on here!

Not to mention you have names pretty well thought out! You think of everything with your cities.
