Show us your....ugly photos!!

I looked through the "City-building concepts" section and there was nothing like this, so here it is.

My definition of a "ugly photo" has one or more of the following:

Grid showing

Zots

Menu, pause or disaster bars showing.

Bad editing.

UDI Icons(The little buttons you click to drive)

These were soem of the first photos in my CJ and boy they were bad!!

Tips for not having bad pictures:

If a grid is showing, press "g" to turn it off.

Turn off zots by pressing ctrl-x and typing in "tastyzots" then pressing enter; that toggles the zots on and off and nothing else.

To turn off zones, press ctrl-x and type in "zoneria".

[Although the above two are cheat codes, they aren't really cheating as they just affect the game aesthetically]

Don't have it on pause, put it on turtle (slow) speed (or else you can crop it)

You can take pictures while having everything minimized by pressing ctrl-shift-s.

To turn off the UDI icons, go click on the My Sim Button, then the U-Drive-It button, then the button that toggles the icons on/off (the one at the bottom)

Well that is kind of bad. It's blurry, there are texture issues with the avenue, and the zones are on. But it's good that it's bad 'cause this thread is all about that. As for the car, well, you know how those Sims drive.

This real nice photo of a seaport got ruined when I forgot to turn off the zot, yet I posted it in my CJ and din't notice it toward now!

Plus, that pic also had zones on.

Here is a shot that shows everything that makes a picture "ugly":

The grid is on

The zots are on (No-power zot on ferry port at right)

Labels are on (city names, in this case (only turn on labels when you need them to indicate something))

Zones are on (commercial zone at bottom)

UDI icon (car icone on highway)

Pause and menu bar showing

Bad editing (Actually, it isn't edited at all!)
