Wizards don't do much for me. I need superheroes or giant robots punching each other and shooting lasers at each other. Questionable quality is okay, so long as there is a lot of action to make up for an incoherent plot.

Movies arent that bad, cant really blame them for missing much else you would be there all day. But then again i would only go and see them if my mates are. (Which we all do, as were part of the harry potter generation. Wah.)

I generally prefer reading first book, and then watching the film.

The reason I prefer books to movies is the lack of visuals allows the reader a good bit of creative interpretation as far as how things look. When I read a story the world of that story unfolds like mad inside my mind and I like that. But I love movies too. Just for a different set of reasons.

That said, I've never read a Harry Potter book or seen a Harry Potter movie. I'm not too into fantasy. Although the last book I read (American Gods by Neil Gaiman) was like a fantasy and I loved it.

I have a bit of a break between the end of lectures and my exams, then four exams in four consecutive days. During the break I hope to get my red P plates (first stage provisional driver licence). Just need to pass a driving test for that, as I've already logged my 100 hours of compulsory supervised driving.
