I thought it would nice to add a parking lot to complete the MMTS so I started to work on it on the BAT:

I know there will be people that may not want the extra space of the parking lot, so I

Great looking building, especially with all the added transit features, how about making versions that sit back 3 and 4 tiles from the street (by the use of a plaza infront of the station), so that the tracks can run behind the buildings on the street line ?

Wonderful. Highly polished and looks more like a monorail station ought to rather than an el station with a different colored awning.

Brenda, as I've said before love your work. 16.gif

Based on the two subway/bus stops, I know this will have all the bells and whistles. The detail in this station is brilliant. How did you get the trees? Did you build them yourself in gmax?

You've got heaps of space above the carpark. Perhaps a newspaper stand, or a little outdoor coffee area, or some park benches where people can meet...

Just one comment, based on the two lots I've downloaded. Can you add a standard prefix to your files (i.e. the SC4Lot, SC4Desc and SC4Model files). That way the files won't get confused in the Plugin's folder. I'd say XNE_ is almost guaranteed to be unique, e.g. XNE_SubBus****, XNE_SubBusPark***, XNE_Monorail***. But whatever works for you.2.gif

That's a stunning model. I like it a lot. Great work on the trees. Have you considered releasing them as a special prop?

thats one problem with this game, theres all the buildings and people but where do they park? you see almost no parking spots or you see 10 spots for a business that has 60 workers...
looks VERY nice brenda, keep up the good work

Brenda, this is awesome.  I especially love your elevators.  Elevators are one of the most fun items to design, and you did them fabulously!

This is the last in-game test. Everything seems to be working properly: lights, train going thru the station, flying building about to fall on pedestrians11.gif', etc.

I started to render the station. I estimate is going to take about 3hrs to finish14.gif'. This building has over 300,000 polygons thanks to those trees you guys (and I) love so much24.gif'.

The trees were created using a script in 3D Studio Max. I will release them as props and as a model (if you don

These are the first in-game pictures. I will upload the LOT when I finish adding the subway-bus-monorail connections.

Do you guys think 15,000 passengers its ok?

I would like to make a custom query for this LOT but it

Brenda, the custom query stuff is pretty easy to figure out. It took me a few hours, and you know the transit enabling stuff, so you know your way aroud iLive's Reader and the SC file structure. After that, the time is spent on the layout (i.e. specifying pixel 2D locations of text and images). Have a look at the Custom Query Tutorial on the STEX.

Thank you Deadwoods for the link 1.gif
    I red Daeley's tutorial, but I still can't do want I need to. 15.gif

I noticed that my LOT works like it is suppose to but when I look at the query it only displays the amount of people taking the bus (I had the same problem with my SubBus station14.gif).

I want this lot to have a query displaying the amount of people taking the bus, subway, etc...and I just dont know how to do that 8.gif

I PM Daeley for help. If somebody else knows how to do it please let me know 24.gif

P.S. Daeley is the master of the query. I'm sure he can help.22.gif

hey that looks like a very cool building! and I don't mind at all that you PM'ed me 2.gif

now as for showing the capacity that each separate function has, I'm not entirely sure that would be possible... I'll try to look at it today to find a back door, but as far as I know you can only show the total amount of transits, because they all use the same property Transit Switch Traffic Capacity

I'll try to see if there's a way around this... but I might not find it 41.gif

edit: well so far no success... I've looked at a few other multi-transit lots and it confirms what I was thinking... you'll have to use Transit Switch Traffic Capacity as the sum of all capacities and capacity used can only give you the sum of all usages... this is because all capacity used uses the same id 0x00001042. Also, the game doesn't really seem to define something as a bus function it just recognises traffic transit trough the transit switch point property.
sorry I couldn't give any good news...

...it might not be much, but you can change the bus/metro icon that appears and fades with capacity used 2.gif'
