    Ok, peeps, I've finished graphics for Railway-on-road overpass lot.
    As long as it's Beta testing version, all graphics rendered in DRAFT quality.

    marrasttbpr003.jpg

    marrasttbpr004.jpg

    I've done all I can for now, It is transport enabled lot, but it's still UNAVIABLE for comute pathfinding. Only civic cars, such as police, trash, etc. can drive through this. It's olso aviable for U-Drive-It mode to drive through.

    So, if you want to try it, please, take it:
    EDIT: link has been changed to newest version, see next comments of this thread for info.
    http://www.marrast.nm.ru/affil/opbeta20.zip

    Now I can go search and read some info about how to make pathfinding aviable lots.

    A little late, but here is a picture.

    The yellow lines show where rail is now. The overpass was changed a few years ago. The road does dip a bit, but it is below ground level.

    Good to know I didn't waste my 5 minutes!<ahttps://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/images/smilies/3.gif> `It would be neat if there was an overpass like that in the game, with the hole in the top, there isn't one on the real overpass anymore because they rebuildt it for some reson. But there were a lot there, and there are also bridges over rail in our city. I'll look for some! You could try that next, if you want!

    -I suck at BAT (even Baseball<ahttps://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/images/smilies/3.gif>) so I try to help in any way I can!

    Sorry about not posting earlier.  Things are a bit hectic and I haven't had a real chance until now.  Anyway, I had a chance to take a quick look at your lot.  From what I can tell, you have two problems preventing traffic from getting through:
    First, you need to add the Transit Switch property.  This is the property that tells the lot what kind of traffic to let through.  Since qbert's tutorial was written before the release of the BAT, this property is called 'Transit I/O Attributes' in his tutorial.  There is a separate file that completely covers this property.
    Second, you have the Transit Switch Point Capacity set at a very small number.  You need to increase this number so that your sims aren't slowed down going through the lot.  As a general rule of thumb, I usually just add the capacities of the two network types going through the lot.  In your case this would be 1000 (for roads) + 3000 (for rail), or 4000 total.
    Another thing that I noticed is that you included the Transit Switch Cost property.  This property isn't really necesary for this type of lot, so you don't actually need it.  However, since you have set the value so low, it wouldn't hurt to keep it in.

    That should solve your problem.  If you have any questions, let me know.

    RedLotus, thank you sooo much!!! I've done it! HAH! =:}

    marrasttbpr005.jpg

    Now, this lot works great with all types of transport!
    Still unconfigured paths. but it's trifling matter. Anyway the cars and buses disapears in the middle of roadslope, and appears in the middle of another (exept civic cars).

    At this moment it's still Beta version. If anyone wants to try this out, please:
    http://www.marrast.nm.ru/affil/opbeta20.zip

    And I will continue create other variants of overpasses. During this, I will share it here. And when I finish, I will upload Full overpass set on a LEX.

    Thanks to ALL of you, peeps!!! :}

    Awesome! I modelled an avenue underpass a while ago for one of my cities, but I can't do GMax very well. Modelling is easy, but I can't get texturing right.

    So it looks sort of . . horrible.

    Congratulations on getting the underpass to work correctly.

    That is awsome, but one thing. Would it be possible to have the sides be more of a hill and not just a sher drop, cause many briges are like that. Otherwise those are all awsome and I will use them alot. 1.gif

    Standby.

    This is COOL! I think it opens up a lot of possibilities. These railway intersections are very useful. I was wondering if this technique could be adapted to make a highway stack to replace the cloverleaf? I don't know anything about modding but appreciate the efforts of everyone on these boards!! 9.gif

    marrasttbpr006.jpg

    http://www.marrast.nm.ru/affil/opbeta10.rar

    IMPORTANT: I think It's stil has glitches, so, If you will have got one, let me know.

    To BarbulaM: I'm not so sure about it, cause this lot, because it's got to be compact. But any way, I will think about it. Thank you.

    It looks great (excluding the train). I hope you're able to complete the avenue underpass. One way roads should be easy to do.

    Wow, peeps :} You are really driving me crazy with you requests! %} But hey, I will do more different variants of these overpasses.And road over the road too :} Just a matter of time. Stay tuned :}

    Oh, wow! Very nice job, I love the look and practicality of that!

    A thing about a street underpass. Unless a lot of people want it, don't bother. Most streets, since they're built for low cost and low capacity, end at rail or just do a grade crossing.

    Don't forget Ground highways.

    A request, since you're a whiz at these, maybe a road underpass for Ground Level highway. Eventually an underpass with on/off ramps could be possible, if path files are figured out. That might be a little much for lots.

    Marrast, are you able to get vehicles to go under the rail completely or just right before and after?  I know the trains go over the top fine 1.gif   Awesome detail though.  Maybe could add some trees around it or flowers to brighten it up alittle.  Again awesome job man 24.gif9.gif

    These look great. I can see it now, your underpass, some streets on either side stopping at the train track, some rundown R$ houses on either side and maybe even a burnt car wreck.9.gif'

    The road underpass seems to have a pootpath (sidewalk for the US folks) on either side (and that great yellow/black barrier). But there doesn't seem to be one with the avenue underpass. I realise there's probably not a lot of room, but it looks a bit odd. Maybe I'm being too picky.2.gif'

    Deadwoods, they are there but real hard to see.  If you look at the lower road where it enters going from right to left you can see the space.  The other side is hard to see because of the angle making the impression that it doesnt have a foot path.
