Eh. The All-Star game is just a stupid gimmick that was cooked up as a scheme to bring fans in during the depression. They've attempted to give it some actual meaning by deciding world series home field advantage based on who wins it, but it's forced.

So Jamie Moyer has now given up the most home runs in baseball history by giving up a homerun to Vernon Wells the center fielder for the blue jays, that breaks robin roberts record of 505 set in the 1966 who died earlier this year (also a philly and was honnored by jerseys with his number), as much as i hate the phillies i have been watching Moyer's starts waiting to see it, it was not supposted to happen in philly though but because of the G-20 Summit the Blue Jays lose home field advange.

1st time in many a year the rangers made decent move at the break. we have an ACE

Along with Justin Smoak, the Mariners will reportedly acquire RHP Blake Beavan, RHP Josh Lueke and 2B Matt Lawson from the Rangers for Cliff Lee and Mark Lowe.

The trade is set to be announced at 6 p.m. EDT.

A bankrupt team with no money steals an Ace pitcher away from the yankees, this is so nice  !!!!
