I had to shut down the Berlin paper. They were saying negative things about me. Now I own the paper "The Berlin Reader". Sims can't even drive to work much less think for themselves. Oh I got your suite at the Ong Condos ready for your visit as of course such a dignified guest as yourself shall be there. I had to "eleminate" a few protesters at Berlin University. It's okay though we got many more Sims ready to spout the party line. Though its not easy cleaning all that blood off the streets and side of walls as I thought. [leans closer to SimRico]. Something very weird happened in Berlin a few days ago. Wanna hear...?

What!  The Berlin Reader discontinued! WHEN?!!! That's one of the long time institutions of Berlin! YOu must have some of the Skabetti clan working there on the board of directors that's causing all that rucikus.  Took us 25 years to run that bunch out of our town! It TOOK total control of my car and auto'ed me right here to the front entrance.. I cannot get enough of this good food! that menue is making me want to HURT myself  today!  I want some of  EVERYTHING on todays menu! MMMMM Mm!

[Looking back and forth the speaking sotto voce] Okay here it is. I was mayoring it up in Berlin as usual slowly building up my CBD when suddenly two separate robots landed near each other. It seemed like someone was trying to get them to fight, which they never did no matter how much someone tried. Then even worse a UFO came down and attacked the city as well. Finally after several minutes at least a third of Berlin was destroyed!!! . Now here is the kicker though. [Turning to the barkeep]. Yo how bout a Long Island ice tea for me and another of whatever SimRico and Aussie is drinking!!! [Looking around nervously again and then lowering voice]. So anyway as I'm trying to figure out how to handle all this destruction when suddenly... My ummmm... City... Disappeared!!!! Then a moment later reappeared just as it did right before the robots came down. I'm not making this stuff up!!! It's like somehow the city was saved before the destruction then afterwards the city reset itself. [sighs and takes a long drink of his tea] Feels good to get that off my chest!

NAWWW!..[rico says between a big gulp of appletine as The Moose passes around the drinks but keeps his eyes attentive to Bdubs experience same as me, cant move].....What could be attracting so much ufo attacks!  amd who was this unidentified force making the bots fight?....wait! is Berlin built ontop of the old city Roswell?...no wonder!  Did you say the . entire city vanished after destruction then reappeared whole?....[grabs bdb by the shoulder].....i hatreee to warn you but it sounds like the source is......'.hmmm......it could very well beee..........no, forget i brought that up......lets drink up [inside SimRico gets verrrrry anxious and nervous of the potential source.....]

[no words spoken among the three for a few silent seconds... just some glancing back and forth among the three...background sound filled with the low volume of NewsTV playing above the bar, the low sound of customers conversing, slurping coffee and eating utensils clinking against plates of the best breakfast this side of the simtrop river!]

Looks like ever city in the region has experienced similar phonon like Berlin, Peyton place, here in Toronto, you name it , its all over the place! I just got word that they think one of the headquarters is in Stepford Island, no doubt you may have some pockets of "cells" to in your city

[looking around the café area and getting that nod of approval from The Moose].... yes, this place is as good as any...the thing is, we may need to move over there to the corner booth. Yeah. that "is" funny about Aussie, you don't think the "pods" got'em do you? I mean, he was here one day and we haven't seen 'em since. [starting to get worried now].... we need to get to the bottom of this! Tell you what, This weekend i'll stop over in Berlin maybe we can get a panel together and sort of brainstorm this thing first to get a current status, you know?

Well, this all looks very familiar...

Version 3? It was Version 2 the last time I was here. I still remember the original Moose Factory too. It's been quite some time.

My girlfriend was ecstatic about the release of the new Sim City, and I was too at first. It's such a shame though, we all looked forward to a SimCity 5 for years, and we got this. Ah well. I was trying to convince her that SimCity 4 was still the best by showing her the few pictures I salvaged from my old computer, and ended up here looking for more. This all brings back memories. I feel like I should change my profile picture though! It's been the same for long enough.

Granola and berries huh? I want something a little more stick to your ribs!!! Think I'll go for some bacon, eggs over easy and sour dough French toast and plenty of coffee. Now that I have a bunch of custom stuff I have a full day of mayoring ahead and of course city planning!
