That sounds like lactose intolerance where the milk has not be denatured by cooking.  Can you drink lactose free milk?

sure sounds good. just fed all my critters...

i can't eat corn itself but seems i can eat stuff with corn. in moderation of course.

looking like i can eat most everything else.

meat i just have to keep to 4 oz a day and fish seems easier for me to digest... then chicken or turkey. i don't eat much beef or pork...

Im just stopping by to congratulate you.. it is a huge milestone, and even thought we never had a ¨deep¨ conversation, it is important to recognize this.

 

Soooooooooooooo, with that said, hit me with something for lunch, not fish, i hate fish... but hey, Im Argentinean, grill is my thing..!!

Since you're in the Argentine, how about a nice cowboy .. er .. gaucho steak.  You know, the cut that you tenderize by riding with it under your saddle until it's time to cook it.   We can give you some nice frijoles refritos and late summer vegetables with that.

 

SimRico, the KK Dragon advises that it is lobster season.  The supper tonight will be steamed sea-bugs with drawn butter and early corn on the cob.  You get a can of melted margarine instead, but we'll use one of the better ones.  If you like we can throw a couple of steamed lobster tails on the grill for you to rewarm them.

 

Green Jello for dessert if you have any room left.

 

About my chemo:  Methotrexate once a week, and folic acid every day except today.  This is a folate inhibitor and stops my cells from generating the rheumatoid factor (sort of) that is part of my autoimmune problem.  Hell to be allergic to yourself.  I've been on this stuff for decades.

 

 Well I wouldnt mind if I could get the steak without having to ride on it lol!

Well, it doesn't have to be a slice of muscle fresh off the cow.  We generally have our beef properly hung to be tenderized.  So, how would you like your 3 cm. thick rib eye?  Sangnant, à point, or cuit as they say in La Belle France (that's bloody, medium rare, or hot pink centre).  We don't cook any good beef beyond that unless we are making boot soles.

 

You can have that with French Fries (Patâtes Frites) or mashed or a baked potato with all the fixings.

 

Veggies of the day.  Today that's New Brunswick fiddle heads with drawn butter.

 

And if you have room, you can have Cherries Jubilee for dessert.

I used to go lift weights after class.  Of course I landed a desk job, and now have fallen arches of the chest.  Stay active.  You'll feel better and study better.

Well, pumping iron does make you feel good.  You also need to increase, carefully, your food intake.  Make sure to hydrate after an exercise session.  Gatorade is not needed unless you are feeling really weak and exhausted, just good cold (not too cold) water, and not too fast.

 

I always found a cold beer and a few nibbles of some kind helped a lot.  The beer is full of electrolytes and sugars.  Just don't over do it.  American beer is almost like drinking water, but Canadian beer is another matter.

I started getting into the habit of filling a jug full of filtered water and then putting it in the refrigerator. This way whenever I go somewhere, I can fill a thermos with the cold water and it will stay chilled for when I need it.
