Man if we could find a way to make different sized lots this game could take off like crazy. Obviously that and more trnasit options. I wish the cars turning into brown boxes could be avoided for another zoom at least. Or instead have the vehicles show but washed out. Would like to see the landscaping tools expanded as well.

Now that I have seen a person playing the game and showing us pictures, I would have to say that it's great, as far as the visuals are concerned.

the company did keep some of its promises, as I saw in the pics on the previous page: tunnels, major interchanges, more freedom of how to plop them. I saw some unique interchanges in the pics!

These pictures really changed my opinion about the game. I can see a real gold mine with the game, but we need to give it players to diagnose problems, a dedicated help center to triage and fix these problems, a dedicated forum (*Simtropolis*) to give ideas for new concepts and to create custom content for if and when Cities XL will accept custom content, and finally time. SimCity wasn't always to crown jewel it is today. It took players, patches, Simtropolis and other forums, and time to grow on us.

I'm starting to wander away from the subject....sorry!

Thanks for the comments guys!, I couldn't post because I had an Apses in my tooth, which caused me a lot of pain and couldn't really do anything, but now I'm feeling better and its my half term there will be plenty more pictures soon. My final verdict on this game is that it's half finished, but I enjoy it way more then sim city 4 for some reason.

Hey I'm back with more crazy hilltop hoods! lol, and yes it is a tropical map, and pretty much things only grow once and no you can't make them historic and gas stations would be great mate, but they don't have them

I used that map before I checked your journal, I am really amazed by your creativity.  I didn't think to build roads down the cliffs, over the water and into the CBD.  Brilliant!

There's a little trench running down the cliff towards the water - I built a little road along the existing terrain and it just didn't work with the CBD - which I thought was perfect for that beach.  I was going to move on to another map, now I'm torn
