Thanks,

TBH, I don't know, the buildings are still there but its probably a road now and one may even have an el rail on top.. And I have the NAM on high capacity, so street capacity is ~1400.

Not nearly as class as some of yours.

I love how the transition from high density goes into low density on this one. And this is one of my best.

When Sam Walton approached the Aomori city council about opening a new walmart inside town limits, the council was reluctant due to the increased traffic and air pollution given the close proximity to a good chunk of the country's food supply. After many months of debates, votes and ideas being thrown around, it was finally decided that the city council would allow the new Wal-Mart to be built, so long as Walton provided free housing, medical care and schooling to his future employees.  This is the result after many years of construction, and now the new Wal-Mart is officially open

edit: im still working on finding a hospital that I like for this area, but even with the standard maxis clinic I think it looks pretty good

@AIX: I love the road tracing the coast and the use of the round about has given me ideas for my future use of roundabouts. The train terminal is awesome and the use of the space around it is fantastic. One last thing what is the building in the very top left?

    Well, mine isnt much...

I basically made these facilities on inspiration of large defence faclities in Britain. Like RAF Fylingdales for example, which protects the UK from enemy ballistic missiles....

So I made my own Fylingdales- "Hemley Edge National Security Facilitiy" installation117.jpg

There has been some alterations however, I have removed the ICBM batteries and placed another raydar and moved them slightly further apart...

The Hemley Edge National Security Facility is situated in north-eastern Missanda, my fictional island country near Britain. Commisioned in the late 60s, it was (and still is used) to  look out for enemy Soviet nuclear missiles. Half of the nations ICBMs were based here, (the rest SSLBMs) but this was removed in 1998.

(Note Hemley Edge is not afflicted with the UK/US early warning ballistic missile system)

    So.... I built Warwick Bank.....

    warwickbank.jpg

Warwick Bank is the nation's store for its fleet of ICBMs. The four long poles are siren poles. Since I couldnt find any Carters sirens on the STEX (hint hint for someone to make some) I had to settle with US torando sirens.

Situated on a barren moor in north western Missanda-on the oppistie sid of the country from Hemley Edge, this place will be the defence of the nation through dark times to come......

Stay tuned for Sonesdown Hazadrous Materials Facility.....
