This bit of landscaping is among the best I've done so far.  To me, anyone can make a dense commercial downtown, but it's tough to make realistic landscape.">

    My epic seaport:

    PortofAcadia-Overview.jpg

Took a few hours of terraforming and plopping to make it....takes up almost all of a large city tile.

Hmm..does Estovokia actuall exist in real life? Or did they just make it up for Ace Combat 6? Anyways, awesome city, and amazing Burj Dubai! I downloaded it, but I'm not sure if I'm going to get any Stage 15 stuff anytime soon in my city of 1.6 Million.

EDIT: By the way, what is the lot size?

That is a fantastic looking region. I love the irregular-shaped farms. They're a welcome relief from the usual gridded ones.

I love the way that the river is straight through the city but then as it gets to rural areas it "curves up" :-D

    here is mine

i´m currently building on the Phoenix -Mesa - Scottsdale MSA

i´m proud of my currently work!

the Area you see stretches from Jackrappid - Trail in the Western Suburbs to the end of the Tempe Townlake where the Interchange is located !

Expansion to the North is still under construction and the whole Mesa Area to the Southeast must be done!

    i think  10 - 15 percent have been done

This particular shot is what inspired me to turn this region in to a CJ:

    1b1bnewtvillemain.jpg

There's just something about it that makes me feel like I've done a really good job 4.gif

Although, in retrospect I could of gone a lot less overboard witht he smuged border...

Also, if you haven't guessed yet, that's an image I used in my CJ. Sorry I couldn't find the origional. I may keep my SC4 pictures organised, but sometimes they just go missing.

    SimHoTToDDy, you win this thread.

    ...

This is from my last (never finished, but it will be someday) CJ - Pamplona, Florida.  The image is too big for the forums.

    Gaze in awe.

Like the idea of using Wikipedia.

Did you just take the border (the logo and stuff) and fill in the rest?

Im sure that with things like that then the CJ will be fantastic!!!!

@ bigthing: I took St. Petersburg's wikipedia page (which has been changed since this was made about a year ago), erased the text, and filled in my own, then replaced the text & pictures with Photoshop. All I need now is a new city seal.

Thanks to Trainguy and Chickenonabun, too.

    Quite realistic, like the sunset.

    Well Done!
