8859. You know, I missed the conclusion of the last 10K thread. Only appropriate I help wrap up this one. Back on topic, I've decided to stop procrastinating....starting tomorrow.

Two years ago my computer crashed, taking several gigabytes worth of plugins and years of work on lovingly crafted cities with it. I decided to throw in the towel. Well, two weeks ago I accidentally clicked on a link to some of the music from SC4. 'By the Bay' has been stuck in my head ever since, and I'm getting that old familiar itch once again. I guess I'm going to give it another shot, but I'm backing up my Plugins folder this time. So what have I missed since late 2009?

I'll try to be there. No promises though. Its the day after my birthday, so Ill probably be goofing off with all the various things I asked for, and then will use one before breaking it, losing it, or selling it.

China has always been hesitant to condemn North Korea for its various acts of idiocy, mainly due to the economic interest it has in the country. Still, when the bullets start flying (and they will eventually, whether its in two months or two years) I doubt China would be dumb enough to go to war to defend a country that is more of a hindrance than a help to the acceptance of China as a part of the modern world.

Thats the issue with North Korea. Even if you replace the executive leadership (Kim Jong Il, his family, and his generals) the populace is so brainwashed that a new government would be next to impossible to set up. The people would slip right back into the state of semi-worship that they're in right now. Winning a war in Korea would take half a century or longer, as it is only won when the people realize the truth and accept it. I apologize for what I said earlier. Arrogance annoys me.
