• The water texture is the Staten Island water mod, found in the Gobias HD Water Pack 1
• The seawalls are the Quais de Seine, by JENX
• The straight retaining walls are actually a semi-private beta by Bipin. You can check his BAT thread if you really wish to try them out.

From my CJ  "TYMBACTOU TODAY" yet to come to ST later this winter, these are some riverside pics from it's surburbia on the west side of the bay.

 

Sims decided almost 20 years ago to have the small Kylore River separated from simlish civilization to protect the total destruction of the its beauty and natural impact on fauna and flora. The river is fenced in and totally inaccessible in this salmon spawning upper part which help enormously the comeback of the today's rarely found fish. The close untouched nature of the riversides are much appreciated by the sims living in the area. The lower falls (will only be shown in my upcoming CJ)  are today a touristic attraction.

I suck at building seawalls, so I opted not to do them for my SC4 video series. The alternative created a more natural-looking riverfront which also doubles as a nice park / greenspace area and floodplain. That's a good alternate to me raging for hours trying to build a crappy-looking walled shoreline if I do say so myself.
