Sadly they can't,but the cool thing about that river is it is easier then making a real river...

Great port it is really realistic.I like how it is close to the downtown, but yet natural.I also love that river....

Great work with tge harbour!!! I don't know how long I have those docks in my harbour but I couldn't do anything halfway sastifying with them .. unlike you!
The transition of the ploppable water to the sea looks interesting ... it rather seems to work ...!

Great work (might I say as always?!)

wow again you all have been great with the replies i did a ton
of work today on the suburbs of this city and it is taking forever
but looking real cool, i had to revamp the rail system adding
additional lines cause everythingis already running way above
capacity. it should be ready for a massive update late tonight
    or tommorrow night.

    thanks

Hey Alek, sorry it's been a few days since my last comment.  I really like the port area.  It reminds us that like in RL, not all cities or areas in a city need to be high wealth.  That would just be unrealistic.

I also really liked the rail yard in the mosaic.  Nice job there, but then again, I have always admired your transportation layouts.

    Great Stuff...

Woa! I missed one! no two!

    Ok first one:
I love the dingy look of your harbour area!
We can almost expect to be mugged if we walked on those streets, it's almost a Film noir ambience! The choice of water emphasize that aspect.

    Perfectly done alek!

    Second one :

    First pic : woa, superb!
The mosaic : excellent use of the brick walls, really like the railyard it's huge and loaded with details! and the residential sector at the end is almost out of the 1984 Goerge Orwell novel!

Loved it Alek, great work! 44.gif

Wow, looks amazing. The plopped water looks odd flowing into the bay, but you can't avoid that. The downtown looks great, the suburbs great as always. Can't wait to see what you have planned next!

man what a cool reply and i can't believe you got that feel from
my port area that is exactly to a tee what i had imagined, shady deals
back alleys and danger around every corner, and wait till you see
    those suburbs now.

and for a note that rail yard get mad traffic
it is not just all show i'll have to get pics but all 3 rail lines
are handling like 5,000 passengers. anyways your replies are the best .

And to dhop thanks for dropping by i spend alot of time
making buildings historical-(all of them no joke) to
really limit $$$ to a few small areas
