I think I know what inspired you to make that river and you did it so much better then the original.Even the farms by the river look better then the others.44.gif

I'm glad I got a chance to see this C.J. again and I can't wait for trixie season because with every update you prove this C.J. has what it takes!

Great update! I like you diagonality 48.gif... although ... if everthing is diagaonal it is a orthogonal grid again 47.gif... anyway!

I admire you guys who have the time and patience to make these mosaics... I am glad to get my updates on the net ... 45.gif

Now to your pics: these hills / mountains covered by cycledogs trees and the rocks look GORGEOUS! 16.gif I really wanto to have a nice walk there! I guess I have to try this plopped-water river, too, looks really great!

Oh, BTW: Great new layout! And Congratulation on your 1000th post!

Thanks for the compliment, alek! 43.gif43.gif

About the rural settings, well, I guess everyone needs a change sometimes and like RL, there are / can be / should be rural AND urban settings ... (I am doing a bigger town at the moment, too, but that's a secret!!1 38.gif)

About your teaser: Where did you get these electrical lines for the railway? 42.gif As far as I know frogface has such electrical railway lines and / or is working on them but yours look different ... 41.gif

Anyway: the way you combine highway and railway is great - looks very realistic!

Looking forward to your next update!!! 29.gif

Wow, what a great update. It's small, but new stuff. The SG homes are very realistic! I cannot wait for the next update, that was a wonderful teaser pic!

Lookin great, Alek.  You really have an eye for good screenshots, but above that the screenshot can't be great if the city isn't awesome.  I like your rural areas, but you also do an excellent job at urban areas....the diagonal grid is pretty unique...and that's what sets you apart from other CJs.  44.gif

Nice update, alek.  Great use of Japanese BATs.  Really good idea on keeping the small downtown areas architecturally similar with all the different buildings you've incorporated.

At least he edited it.  Gotta give some credit now that it's established you inspired the start of at least 1 CJ.  That's a pretty good accomplishment.

I'll be honest now... I didn't really like that update. Maybe my expectations are getting too high for you... 2.gif Good effort nonetheless!

Now that's ... bunt (German, for colourful, coloured, checkered, varicouloured, quite universal little adjective...)

Quite different from what you did before. But, yeah, why not?
These BATs are quite huge ...

Got to get used to it, but then again, why not?

    Waiting for the next update!

Ooh yeah! That's just kool. (And thanks for the compliment, too... 43.gif) So you're making a diagonal grid... Strange, but original. And you're doing uber-good with it. Then, I have questions about 2 things in your CJ.
    1. Which rock modd are you using?
    2. Where did you get those overhead cables for railways?
    And BTW...
    39.gif THIS IS MY 400TH POST! 39.gif
    Decided to post it here...

Just awesome updates! Your city looks very different to all the other CJs. The japanese style gives your CJ somthing *special*. What really catched my eye was the railway with the overhead power line.

I like how you used Goldiva's pedestrian bridge. As far as I know it is also a tollbridge ... 11.gif

What look really great are those ingame big brown R$. Whereas all is diagonal they are not make them look like diagonal! Great work!

Let come again to the pic with the electrified railway line next to the highway: I LOVE IT!!!! 36.gif

The nightlife are great but with these bats ...

Can you show us some more pics of the beach? I saw it only in daylight in the background and in one nightpic but it sure looks good!

Now I am waiting for the suburbs!
