Yeah, no problem, take your time.  Your CA maps so far have been great.  That's interesting about Cunningham, didn't know he's from CA.  And since you brought up high school athletes, my school has an OK alumni class as well.  Tom Brady, Barry Bonds, and Lynn Swann, to name a few...

As for the Fresno map, is it playable now, or do I have to wait for you to package it up and then download it?  Can I just save the picture as a certain filename and load it in SC4 mapper?  Sorry for the bonehead questions, but computer programming was never my thing.

Cheers,

Matt

I'll have to package it up first and upload it.  More than likely Fresno, Hamilton Ontario and Bora Bora will be released today.44.gif

Blade, thanks again for including Singapore.  I'm really looking forward to that one 29.gif

Also, I just want to thank you for all of your hard work.  Not only are your maps THE best around, but you've also been super-cool with taking all of our requests.  Without your maps, SC4 would simply not be the same.  Your maps make up 98% of my regions and I think that says something.  Your maps are THE standard for quality mapping around here and because of your products, SC4 continues to be a fun and enjoyable experience for me and I'm sure many others.  Thanks again and I look forward to many more NHP releases!

9.gif  Would have posted this over at SC4D for you to look at, but of course I can't log onto the site at the moment and don't know when I'll be able to again.  I also have to Google Earth this area to find out what rivers/waterways are missing and then fill them if there are any.

I have just received a request from Secretariat for Kota Kilanbu in south-east Asia. I would like to say that I just downloaded the DEM data needed and will add it to the next batch of requests that I'll be working on.

Unfortunately, you're gonna have to wait..........until later in the week18.gif  Anyways, glad you like what you saw, I tell ya, it was a real pain in the backside to draw in the rest of waterway when there was no clear indication of where it was supposed to go.  So I had to get a satellite image along with a roadmap from Google to draw it in.

Ok, all five requests that I've been working on the past couple of weeks have now all been rendered.  All that is left to do is write up the readmes, zip the files and they will be ready for release.  In the meantime, here are what they look like in all their rendered glory.

I saw in your comments on the stex in which you posted " I hope you like the map" Well Of course I like it I'm planing on trying to recreate my old home town in Simcity 4 on a map made by The best map maker in all of the Sim city community. If I was even half descent at playing the game I would try a CJ. Thank you and the NHP team for bringing use these maps and the ease of getting them into the game again Thank you.

It's the one main reasons NHP was started more than 4 years ago, to provide the best possible real world maps and most realistic fantasy maps to the SimCity 4 community and make it easier for said maps to be imported into the game, circumventing the old way of rendering maps.

I hope this wouldn't be too terribly hard for you, but do you think you could have a go at Hangzhou, China? It's a very interesting landscape between having the flat city, the river, and then suddenly the mountains behind West Lake... Just if you feel up to it of course. I have no skills in map making, so I can't really advise, but I'd hope you'd check it out!
