I see no problem whatsoever keeping experiences regarding being gay and bullied together in this thread. So far, most of what I have read in this thread falls into that category so far. There are just things about homosexuality and bullying that probably should stay here.

I have one quick question, this is the first time I have been to this discussion board (usually I just hang out in the Sim City related stuff but am finding that there are a lot of topics you can discuss buried away on Simtropolis) but the rules state that this is not a place to debate whether homosexuality is wrong but I was wondering if this should not apply to all sexual preferences in this thread? The very first post comes out and says that beastiallity is wrong and this is an attack on some peoples' sexual preference. I think that this is setting the wrong tone for this discussion and find it a little ironic. Just my thoughts and by the way, I am not into beastiallity.

We are drawing the line at "consenting adults in private".   A beast is not a consenting adult.

As has been made clear elsewhere, any adults to want to mess with kids are not welcome here.  I will cheerfully ban anyone who is harassing the young'uns here.

As for teenagers . . . well, this is a Canadian website and in Canada the age of consent of 14 so we are putting teenagers into the "consenting adults" category for the sake of discussion.

Please note that I said "for the sake of discussion".   Anyone who is trolling this thread to prey on the people here can go somewhere else.

Excellent reply SkiGeek and I do want to commend everyone for being on their best behaviors to make it 83 pages on an issue that usually gets negative as soon as two people read it. Glad to see that just like so many other areas of Simtropolis that individuals from different backgrounds are getting a long together. If only the RL would take a few lessons from here.

Point, but the question then is raised whether or not the animal has the same rights as a person or whether it's okay to "rape" an animal for fun. And considering it's often okay to kill an animal for fun (it's called hunting), I myself do not personally object to the practice of bestiality, so long as you are not doing it with animals that someone else owns (such as your neighbor's dog). Do I find it disgusting? Yes. Do I think it should be illegal? No. I don't care what you're doing on your own property so long as nobody's getting hurt or having their property harmed.

Besides, in the greater scheme of things, assaulting a child (sexually or otherwise) is certainly a much more egregious offense than assaulting a non-sentient animal (sexually or otherwise). At least from a strictly moral point of view, anyway. Laws in some places may beg to differ.

There are two.  The primary area is the intersection of Church Street and Wellesley Street.  There's a new, burgeoning gay area around the neighborhood of Queen Street West and Dufferin Street.  (The neighborhood is now unofficially known as "Queer Street West"  )

To keep things simple, Church street is for the people who want to party.  The Queen Street West area is generally more for people who want to settle down.

Though that's not always the case.  I used to live near Queen and Dufferin and I can't tell you how many times I've been followed in the supermarket by a guy staring at my butt.

Queen Street West is quite a subdued gay area. It's not out and loud, like the other. There just seems to be an awful lot of gay people living in the area.

You know, I just don't get why some people are so anti gay, they say it's against nature but there are tons of same sex animal partnerships, If it's not wrong for the animals than why do some people think it's wrong for humans to be gay? Are we not animals ourselves? What makes people say that homosexuality is so evil. It's not. I love being gay and I have met so many wonderful people in my local gay community.

I've the heard comments from an Oklahoma Representative Who I will not name. I think she's stupid. What evidence is there that societies that embrace homosexuality die off after a few decades? (She has a gay son, god how I love karma) Why do we always have to be persecuted for being ourselves in a society that favors the individual?
