have to make lots and documentation to continue uploading my older stuff. I really don't like to do that, so is going to be a while before you see older stuff from me on the STEX, but believe me, is going to happen someday, before the new simcity goes public.

something new, been working on this one for about 3 months, not much, I know, another box, I know, LOL

zoom 6, real size is 1x2 grids, to place either w2w or not.

Great surprise to see you alive and kicking! Don't forget to check the alignment of the facade ;)

Wow, that's looking good! A pleasant surprise to see first you, and then this promising model. :)

Nice looking model you've got there, I hope it doesn't take you to long to do the lotting/documentation for your older work, there is some real good stuff there :)

Looks very interesting. :) I like the flexibility of it being able to be in a W2W environment or not.

    Hope to see more.

    First things first

Thank you so much for your comments here, things are really messy right now in RL but I'll do my best to complete this one and my older projects.

Now, I started playing with materials yesterday and I keep getting those black blocks only in that area of the building, yesterdays showed only in west view, today are in east and north view.

Can someone help remove those ugly black blocks???

I'll model roof stuff on other scene, that's why it don't show in this image.

Looking good and love the model but there is a lot of tiling going on, on both the roof and a bit on the facade, get rid of it and you're onto a winner.

Previous issues mentioned aside I really like the look of this, has a great modern and slightly brutalist feel to it :)

Looks great, you do need to work on the roof, it does tile. :)

Indeed, the roof is tiling. Although I need to say that it would't attrac my attention so much if there was some roof junk.

About the black squares: I think a prespective view of the parts of the building you show us would help. I assume that it has something to do with overlapping polygons.

Also, I think you should work on the glass texture a bit more. Maybe some noise maps will help.

And at last but not least, I think some grime for the wall texture would make this much more realstic.

I'm not a master of textures as well so this comment may sound a bit conceited.

I'm looking forward further updates and some progress one the texture ;)

    ;)

It would attract your attention less if it didn't tile, which it shouldn't as it can be fixed, roof junk or not :)

I'd also add that grime isn't always neccessary, especially on brand new buildings..a little noise to the texture/material perhaps, but people have a perceived perception that because other buildings are covered in grime or have loads of roof junk etc etc then all should..I walk around and see plent of buildings that appear virtually spotless..
