brilliant, the river is totally crazy, and overall your city looks fantastic. The floating market is something I haven't seen in SC4 too often, high five!

Fantastic pictures ! I really like this update, all is nicely done, the canals bordered by houses and the floating markets are very beautiful and incredibly realistic. It's a great great work.

    Thank you!

Thanks again to you all for this exceptional reception! I appreciate your comments and support!

On a side note, some of you asked me about those floating markets. Well of course I used the lot editor for that but you may want to take note as to the props I used:

     - Boats and fishing port facilities from Japanese BATer NOB:

    here and here

     - Asian houses from William on the

    STEX

You may want to use Diggi's canals or Oppie's, just search it on the STEX

Ong Bak is considering opening diplomatic relations with other nations, Seto having the privilege of being the first one (you have to tell me how to do it, though 15.gif)

Update 2: Ong Bak's old town

Ong Bak's old town is a chaotic net of canals, alleys, stalls and every now and then an old colonial building. The most memorable legacy of the colonial past of Ong Bak is the Opera Hall, a present from the French during their brief colonization period. The Opera combines the finest of both the European and Asian styles.

The Taj and Hilton hotels, Ong Bak's first 5 star hotels:

And a hint of the next update, the Royal Palace:

That's it for this time! Enjoy!

I've never been a fan of Asian CJ's, mainly because it's always a bunch of skyscrapers, but this one is awesome. I like how you have the old town and not a ton of skyscrapers44.gif

Great work here - and I agree with WillG_75. It is the smal streets and creeks and canals here that are just fun to look at!

    Keep up that marvellous work!

Looks interesting. One suggestion, use those traffic generating tiles to emulate the dense streets of asia.

Wow. Update 2 is even better. Love your commercial establishment sitting perfectly. It really gives an Asian feel to it.
