Some other projects to complete

-The dam project (currently with LOD's problems, probably i'll cancel this...

-Bellagio Casino (the base left, but as you know its huge... so still)

-A prison project (currently i have done some props such inmates, a observation tower and a wall set, but not the main buildings)

-Outlet project (got 10 models done, proposed to do another 30, LOL)

-Gas stations project (still to do 6 gas stations, got 6)

Proposed new projects:

-A new american mall (a Texas mall) i got some good pictures of it, but as you see my huge list, i can't go on)

LBT team projects:

Well, theres a project to make lots of the prop packs that were released in December 12, last year, those packs has over 100 models (buildings) without lots, wanna see surprises?, well look at LE those packs and you'll get surprised

After September of this year will be 100% free, i mean i wil get alot of spare time to BAT, and probbly my latest bats ever... I need good material by then i can just start making those stores... you can include pictures around web, or by yourself (if you an take your own pics that would be awesome), and maybe birdeye maps, but depends on quality...

Due the amount of projects on-going, i have no idea where to go first, things come to my mind, should I continue the current projects, or either should I start new ones? but anyway by now im kinday busy and will go out to vacations, so no time to bat and finish my projects...

Well I do know that Lowe's, Kohls, days inn, target, super 8 and best western have been made so check them out to make sure you imporve or make it look different then them.

I suggest finsh the the bats in progress so you can finally realese them out to the stex!

While I think new BATs would be cool, I think it would be cool if some older ones were updated. The Big Kmart, for instance, looks cool, but the roof is a bit...unrealistic, especially what with the "maze of pipes". It's probably before the days of Google Maps/Bing. 

I'm curious as to what this Texas mall might be. Maybe the GALLERIA?

Give me a hint: which major Texas city is it in?

Here a new improvement with the Bellagio, still working on that deatils on the base, i got the two main buildings exported, just the darn base left.. patience ugh...

Nice and well balanced volume!

One thing, though... you should re-work the taller part. Right now it is a mess. I mean it's cross-section. Also windows at the lower stepped part seem to be spaced arbitrary (both horizontally and vertically).

But it is a good start. You made the most important thing - good composition. Not just fixing some details...

I know Mall del Norte...it's a long and twisty single-level mall...though I would kind of like to see a version of Foley's instead of Macy's.  It's also owned by CBL, which has done the barbaric deed of discontinuing their customer service desk and printed directories. what I meant are these issues marked with colored arrows:

Blue:

the curve of these contours is erratic, not flowing. And it (erratic nature) isn't really justified by anything in the design.

Green:

This misalignment is also sticks out...

Red:

The size of "arches" is different. You have at least 3 different sizes. it doesn't look good. Like people building it don't know how to measure things... It could be alright for some slam shack but not for a hospital, and one that looks like a major one with heliport and all...

Another thing is why, it is a hospital it is called Media Star??

Simfox: Well im not an architect, (im studing for laws, lol) so, this building is purely fictional, the design, name, everything...

My intention was to make something like this, maybe it failed...

The red is the exterior low base of the building and blue is the main building...

Now the answer to your points:

Green and Blue, thats how I did the design in propose, maybe yes it look odd (errated nature)

Red, the archers (or entrance sections) looks like that because has different angles, every angle was turned 5

I'm glad that SimFox pointed out those things in his last post - they were really standing out, and not for any good reasons. This last building looked rushed and sloppy, mainly due to the strange shape of the groundplan. The undulation on the sides looks weird, and the whole thing looks asymmetrical. Added to this is the strange alignment all the roof details - HVACs, pipes, helipad...

I'd be curious to see a screenshot of the top view, to see how it compares to the shape you drew in your last post - I think if you took that top view and put it below your red and blue drawing, it would highlight a lot of what we're talking about...

I love the idea of a diagonal, wedge shaped hospital. There's lots to improve here, and hope the next set of pictures addresses what SimFox pointed out.

BTW: that Pilot mini mart is WAY to small for truckers...and the TA is (maybe) a little to small

(rember, this is for tuckers so you need lots of room for store, bathroom, resturant, showers, and truck service center.)

Hey Heblem, today somebody (paeng) made a gas station pack with your origininal gas station prop pack. They were pretty good, but they're only growable so I didn't dl them...make sure to make yours plopable plz!
