Oh Lala. I do like what I see and sofar, I love it. I am impatient to see pictures from Wisconsin and Illinois part of Dubuque (otherside of Mississippi River). Even though you are not creating Dubuque accurately, here is a little hint, show some hills, valleys, tons of farms, and most rural and some urban roads follow the valleys and ridges of hills and bluffs overlooking the big river. Need some more infomation, just ask as I know the area (even though I live near Lake Michigan). Also, the real life Dubuque has two road bridges and one railroad bridge. One road bridge to Wisconsin and the other road bridge to Illinois with the railroad bridge also to Illinois (diagram= R- RR-R). Waiting for more updates David. Gotta go and sleep before work in the morning. JKB

    dfnva  -  I agree with you!!! 2.gif

    Schulmanator  -  For sure! Thanks!!!

N106  -  Thank you very much!

    Tomasneto  -  Thanks!!!

Heblem  -  Thanks, yes, farm field are plopped, also they can fit when a field is just between two cities limit. Don't worry, I have large pieces 2.gif

    collgab  -  Thanks you!

Artur_001  -  Probably this next weekend, not sure. Thanks!

bakercity  -  Hi JKB!!! I'm aware that mine Dubuque is not the same as the real one. Mine is flat, on the edge of a small river and entirely in the State of Iowa. Now I'm working with my own imagination but sure the story of the real Dubuque is a source too. Thank you again! 1.gif

NMUSpidey  -  Thanks! This one would be more detailled with the same playing style as Lincoln, NE.

allez l'om  -  Sure, it's not the real topography (it's almost hilly) but yeah, it looks like the most part of the Midwest. Are you from Marseille (F)?

GreekMan  -  Thanks! Bigger than Lincoln. In my fictional Dubuque, the metro population would be the same as in Des Moines, IA or Little Rock, AR also the skyline would be in consequence. 5.gif

Petrovar Ambassador  -  Thanks!!! Sure I'll finish this project 2.gif  A lot of pictures are waiting!

    Ntq$310  -  Thanks, you're optimist! 2.gif

On what I'm working on: The airport... yes, insthead my previous CJ (I never was interested by building the airport, so they were ugly and less detailled) I decided to "study" on how to design an airport (like Des Moines airport)... I've downloaded some stuffs in the STEX, and I took some information on the Internet, now I'm drawing some sketches... 5.gif

    See ya! David

    jacqulina  -  Thanks!

sammerhammer747  -  I beagn last weekend to plop the runways and taxiways but it needs some work on it. As a middle sized city, I think about buses, but the rail could also be a possibility, like a fast-link train for the suburbs. Thanks for your comment!

    art128  -  Thanks Arthur!

    mayorbk  -  Thanks 1.gif

packersfan  -  I use Photoshop. After uploading your region picture, you have to rotate it by 40° (in the same sens of a clock) and the use "manual transformation" with right click and then "torsion" after you have to resize your image manually, like mine is 8x9 large maps also the pictures will make 8x9 cm or whatever... then save 2.gif

Raysfan16  -  Thanks. It's a homemade lot, using Simgoober's farm machinery familly props...

    Hawkeye9  -  Thanks!

    vennegoorofhesselink  -  Arghhhh!!! You lucky!!!

Arthur_001  -  Thanks! 1.gif  yes, I live in Lausanne and you really was in this city??? Oh gosh, also you know The Great Escape, the city's funniest pub? I hope swiss people were friendly with you! Cheers! 4.gif

Great update. I like the style of the homes and sizes of the yards, typical of the outskirts of any city. It realistically reminds me of Loudoun County, VA where neighborhoods like this have been built where farms once were. The industrial areas look great too!
