Bellerose County: two cities, one urban sprawl

Here is a region view of the county. As it is quite large I have shown the eastern and western sides separately. This also helps to show what where once two different cities. The western city is New Washington and the eastern is Winslow. Both have surrounding suburbs and districts with different names.

Also in the surrounding hills and mountains there are several small towns some with under 1000 sims living there!

It is quite a dry area climate wise, more rain falls near to the ocean however. The hills feature tall pine trees which look real nice and have all sorts of wild life living there!

BlondeTwiggy: Thanks, well I've been working on it now for a few months. I used medium sized city areas as that seemed to stopped all the crashes, so I didn't 'give up' like I had to on other regions.

dfnva: Hey, yeah I'm gonna show those soon. Woodland Creek which is on the eastern side of the county is the smallest development and I also have several farming communities!

Winslow is the centre of the eastern city in Bellerose.

i like some of your city, i like your parks they're very nice like Empire Springs Park, i like how you have some diversity, but not enough you seem to have to much of the same and then it makes your city boring, your city seems to simple.

and your region is all that great either. all you have is just City, Suburbs,farms, bushland, there seems to be no bush land in between or gaps in your suburbs, your seawalls are alright too.

overall id say 5 outa 10.

Update:

Brushwick, after many years of being unnoticed, Brushwick has had a huge make over in the capitol area (Brushwick being where it all started with Winslow and Bellerose County).

Hampstead, is in the southern Downtown area of New Washington, it has a higher residential population, but less businesses have set up. Here you can see the high and mid wealth residential towers that surround Golders Park in Hampstead...

Hampstead, in the southern area it is more low rise as it heads out towards the suburbs...The Hampstead Expressway and Devonshire Hills Route 1 meet...

Washington Airport, situated in Hampstead is probably the worlds worst airport. Badly over used behind several hills, expansion is almost impossible...

Oakland Creek, is a northern rural suburb of Winslow...it features many square miles of farmland and some factories to the south where it borders with Astoria Heights...

Oakland Creek, the farm workers like to live near to their jobs...

Oakland Creek, many sims are becoming concerned about the increasing industrialization and urbanization in the small town...

COMING SOON! Sims everywhere are getting excited about the new and exclusive neighborhoods being planned for Northern New Washington. Diamond Lake and Fontana Springs!

Fontana Springs is growing in size...but the sims that live there need a way to travel around Bellerose County...so why not build a train network?

And finally...just to sort out any confusion over they organization of the cities in this county...I have made a map which shows the boroughs...

The first screen of your last update, was it in your Fontana town? The round-a-bout intersection looked beautiful. Look into some round-a-bout fillers and it will be perfect.

You have a sprawling metro region here, two large cities and numerous outlying urban developments. I believe this place is larger then my own, Follomer!
