I love the scenery in that update. That canyon looks amazing. I wouldn't want to live in one of those duplexes though; it looks a little dangerous.

Thanks for all the comments and bringing back the Cj to the front pages. Sorry I haven't been a good CJ'er lately, been so busy in the last two weeks. So I offer here another update of a fairly good size. Hope you will like it, very many things have and are changing.

On March 23rd, year 19 bn and at 11:48 hrs AM, Mr Joao Otavio died on the way to the hospital to Klammerton on Uru. During his office hours, he had a stroke at the age of 81 years. For a moment when it was publically announced, the two worlds stood still.
The very well known Mr Otavio was the responsable General Director of the Opall Meteor Space Program, the Chief Executive Director of the Nexis LBST System Group and also the owner of the Otavio Raceway in Round Lake Junction. As a very respective person, he was known on both planets as the Opall Man and he was also a close friend of the Nexis Family, especially of Mr Vallen Nexis.
Mr Otavio's body will be send to Genesis to be incinerated in Round Lake Junction, his favourite place.
He had a team of more than 100 scientists, which will continue to find a solution concerning the giant meteor, and also he left behind a small mountain of paperwork and other sorts of private informations concerning the meteor and that he did not yet discuss with other scientists. Maybe some interesting facts or ideas are only waiting to be read and found.
May he rest in peace now. A statue in his honour will be placed in the Capitol City of Gloryville and the funeral is held on the Rulers Plaza, something that hasn't been done for more than half a century. Only the funeral of Daight Nexis was held here before.

As if it was planned bad timing, the LBST was temporarily put on hold. On the last transfer some 78 people were lost during the Lazor transportation and actually no one really knows where they were shipped to or even if they are still alive. A team of scientists are working on it 24hrs a day. The LBST is now working every hour and all week long, with an average of 12,500 immigrations a week. Mr Otavio was able to increase its function in the last months of his life. At this moment they don't exactly know what's wrong with it, but some negative comments say that it will not be able to function anymore, because of the interference of the meteor, which is now closer than ever to Uru.

While we are in the Capitol City, let's have a small look around. *Holmes Security has gone regional*, were the headlines today in the Gloryville Sun, meaning that the Holmes Security offices will not be anymore responsable for the municipalities themselves. Each town or City will now have its own police and Holmes is regional and federal now. This should take care of and even distribute more equally the expenses for the security offices. If Sherlock Holmes , the founder of Holmes Security, would still be alive today, he would have been extremely proud to see his organization come to this point. A great step into Genesis's future of safety and security for the population.

Next year, Genesis will celebrate its 100th year of existance and preparations and organisations are starting for this Mega Celebration. The Center of this will be in the old Downtown of Gloryville, where actually it all started with some tents and a small science building. The event will also celebrate the 100th year of existance of the LBST system, that Daight Nexis, the founder of the Giant Nexis Corporation, invented. Some modification of the oldtown will be necessary without destroying any centennial structures. The Capitol thinks it will have some 5 million visits next year, by that time the subway should be finished.

In Atlas, the army based County, things are developping a lot like in most of the townships, but here it is not the immigrants that increase the constructions, but the scientists. Nick Ranly, who is studying to become the Follower of the late Ms Evermind Wellwisher, has been elected to be the right Hand of Dr Greem, who is the Director of the Forscher 1 Program. Nick is very happy and honoured to work on his side and which surely will boost his future dreams. Soon Nick will be working in a new building that is being constructed by Jim's Commercial Construction Division.

Again while we are in the Atlas area, we might as well have a good and detailed look around. This are is the army's land, which also includes the Space Program Division, both Genesis and Nexis. Here all the spaceships land and immigrants are being forwarded to Raging River Junction once they arrived with the vessels.

Julius Nicomedia, our medical researcher in Gloryville finally made it. Today he received his doctoriat in Medical research science and he instantly asked for a loan from the gouvernment to help him build a Research facility in Gloryville near the General Hospital to finally be on his own and help medical science achieve the goals that were set by many researchers. The Gouvernment loan was accepted and the construction will be started as soon as the land was chosen. Julius also met someone interesting, a young and pretty woman, which is still studying medical science and bears the name of Julia. He has been asking her out for a few times as I heard, and maybe something serious is in the developping here?

Jasen Howell now is the father of a third child with his wife Roxanne. Another boy, the third one, named William Howell. Jasen owning a Restaurant and a Motel in Cross Canyon and still designing coasters for amusement parks, that he wants one day to open, bought some land in the Nexis City area, just before the bridge to the future airport. He will put all his money set aside into this project that he has in mind, a Giant Roller Coaster. He has been planning this for many years. His oldest son Bill, now 5 years old, is proud of his father already. Good Luck Jasen!  We will of course have a look at his restaurant and motel and also the construction of the Roller Coaster in the next update or so.

Shane Boxx is still learning how to fly, although he is quite able to fly on his own by now. He just lately decided to go into commercial Flights , instead of piloting the Cargo planes that he once wanted. Shane lives now in Tenzel Outlet, closer to the airport of White Sands, but is supposed to be stationed at the Nexis Airport, once that is finished building in about a year from now. Shane now flies some private people on fishing trips, for which he received his permit. But small planes like this do not really interest him, so studying will continue.

Chad Benson, still going with his girlfriend Rachel (some rumours are that she is pregnant, not confirmed though), has just received his Masters degree in General Telemarketing. He is going nuts sometimes ,his girlfriend says, he starts talking about wanting to open all kinds of samll businesses, from Modeltoys to Mining tools and even some DNA experimenting in humanoids...hm...talking about some strange plans?? But Rachel also says that she will stand behind her friend as long as he needs it. Chad is planning to buy a duplex nearby in Gloryville, something not too expensive. His father just enlarged his Airplane factory in White Sands , but Chad is not interested to have any part of it at the moment. We will have a look at White Sands in one of the next updates.

Thom Yorke is about to leave Jim's construction. Although Jim's son Kegan who is running the Company, will feel sorry about this and tried hard to keep him, he wishes Thom the best for his future. Thom is going on his own by next month and start his business, the RHF Construction Company. He is also going back to College and continue studying architecture, mostly for Hi-Risers. Thom's office will be in Nexis City, where most of the construction is these days. There also we will go and have a look at a later update.

Jim, who is in his mid-eighties now and still going at full speed (very healthy man) has finally started his touristic project on his land in Grand Falls. Now we know that it will be a natural park-attraction with the falls and the shallow sandy river, just down below his mansion.

Here is an overview of the whole plan of the valley, the entrance, the information office, the making of the wooden walkways and also something else, which I don't really know of exactly.(seen on the far left) I presume that there will be another bridge and probably another building of some kind.

The foreman that Jim hired has himself installed a trailer closeby the construction site, only to be closer to the project. He says that he is dealing with Jim to have himself a small home down here one day, he likes it so much, but Jim, very conservative is not really of the same opinion. Of course we will come back later to look at the improvements once in awhile.

Bucky Garfield, who is still working in a very well known Hotel in Bolton, is still studying Hotellery in Nexis City and still dreams of opening his own Hotel one day. Bucky was very sick in the kast months and spending a lot of time in the Hospital, without the Doctors actually finding out what is wrong with him. But somehow he got back on his feet  probably on his own, and is back in College and Hotel.

Horatio Utora just came back from a two week vacation from Uru and just in time before the LBST system broke down. He was there to inspire himself for a novel that he started writing, hoping that it will be a great success and allow him to finally build himself a small home somewhere in the hills of Cedar Bay and maybe start a small printing shop of himself. Horatio met a young, beautiful and very rich lady while he was on Uru, and she is supposed to come visit him here on Genesis soon. She is the daughter of a very well known politician on Uru.

Allan Sapporo is making a lot of money these days, while playing music for a lot of VIP's on Genesis at private parties. Allan is still studying music in the Bolton College, and he can be seen quite often at the Tenzel Orchestra hall, where he plays with the orchestra on occasions. He lives on his own now, renting a nice appartment in Gloryville near the sea, which he can allow himself to do so now. Allan will be giving his own small concert in the Museum of Tenzel Outlet this fall, his first and hopefully not his last. We will survey that with a lot of interest.

Mr Alexander MacVicar, still one of the richest men on Genesis, has been investing into appartment blocks with Mr Sven, but stopped just lately because of some health problems. He says that he is slowing down a lot these days, now aged at 93 years. His wife died a few months ago, which really didn't improve his well being. His son Vladimir, together with his brothers and sisters (Sarah, Jonathen,and the twins Laure and Alyssa) are running the Genesis Standard Mines since a few years now. Alexander hasn't been snooping around these offices and premisses that it starts seriously worrying his son Vladimir.
The MacVicar Mines are still growing and maybe soon outgrowing the MacVicar family. Vladimir has been trying to convince his brother and sisters to sell shares of the Company and take in some partners to help out to control the Corporation that now hires more than 12,000 people full time.It has gotten too big for the family.

Daniel Henderson also just came back from a short trip to his hometown Saphir on Uru and that just in time before the LBST failure. Lately he has become a close friend with Jim for which he works, and now being a chief foreman of his company, he approached Jim to buy his Company one day. Jim was all surprised, but refused the offer, because his son Kegan and Sam that are running the Company quite well. Daniel therefore a little disappointed asked Jim for help to guide him into his own business with all the experience Jim has. Jim agreed to do so. Daniel will be ready by the beginning of next year to do so.

And now some news from Genesis:

A terrible accident happened this morning in Nexis South while finishing the bridge to the airport of Nexis City. 6 Construction workers on a suspended platform near the bridge , fell down to death from a height of more than 4 stories. The cable holding the platform broke on one side which of course made the whole thing unstable and the workers lost balance while holding on to each other and dived to the bottom to end their lives instantly.
The whole construction site of the bridge and the Airport was put on hold until better safety measures have been applied, meaning more than 5000 workers are on forced vacation for a short time. These orders were given directly from the Regional Administration Office in Gloryville. All 6 were married and had children. The funeral will be held in the Capitol and Ms Lyll Nexis, the owner of the Nexis Bridge Company, will see to it herself that these men will be honoured as they should be and support to their families will be given to the fullest. May they rest in peace and be remembered as heroes.

 

Now the bridge is almost finished, only the smaller part on the southshore needs to be added, which now is on hold also. At least the most difficult and most expensive part of this highway is finished,which was much more less expensive than expected.

 

 

Farmlands on the Nexis Island are slowly disappearing to make room to either residential buildings or other constructions. Most of these Farmers were given 50% more land in another township to compensate for the relocation of them. Some commercial offices are already starting to build here. Tiel Oil Ltd will have another office here and also the newly arrived Waldofellow's Plastics Industries will have their office close to the bridge, I heard.

 

 

Here is a closer look of the last supporting columns that will soon be finished and from here on ,the highway will drop lower to the groundlevels. It is here also where the accident of the 6 workers happened while they were on a hanging platform at the top of these columns. We can now clearly see why there were no survivors.

 

 

Treeland and its farms has almost no uncultivated land anymore. Every corner is used for agriculture, except for a little wooden strip that we see here below of the size of a few acres and which contain some smaller  deer species, that the farmers want to get rid of, while they destroy a part of their crop. Since humans and animals always had problems living together on Genesis and Uru, a department of the Regional Wildlife Office has been established to see to it that animals (and sometimes humans) are protected by law. The office will be in New Sholes, which is growing rapidly to a City these days, and 100 officers will be patroling the city's and town's borders to keep peace between the two invading species; humans and animals.

 

 

The Razor Blade Logging Industries lost one of their owners last night. Mr Kay Sims, brother of Billy Sims and son of the late Huber Sims founder of Razor Blade, died of a heart attack at his home in Red Poll at the age of 62 years. He was found already lifeless by his wife Helen. Mr Kay Sims had 4 children, 3 daughters and a son, Kevin Sims (31yo) that already works for the Razor Blade Industries. His brother Billy will now be the only one to run the third biggest Manufacturing Enterprise on Genesis and I suppose he will be asking Kevin to help him, since he himself does not have any inheritors.

 

 

The Sport Center that was offered to the municipality of Treeland by the Sims Family from the Razor Blade Logging Industries last year will now bear the name of *Kay Sims Sport Center*, to honour the just passed away Donor.

 

 

Allan Saporro will direct his first concert in Tenzel Outlet's Arena next month, something that he always wanted. Many celebrities have been officially invited and Mr Vallen Nexis and his son Troy and family cannot wait to attend the concert, since all of them are true music fans.

In the new Solar System, Forscher one is supposed to have made a terrific discovery. It seems that both planets earlier suspected to contain life, have probably an advanced civilization on them. Both also seem to have the space technology, since artificial satellites have been detected. Forscher 1 will continue to approach the asteroid belt that surrounds this Solar system. The scientists on Genesis are now ready to confront this situation of entering this natural protective asteroid field, which should be reached in about a month. How contact will be made is not yet defined.

Well I missed two updates and I sure read them back to back! Great things happening espescially with the probe's discoveries.
