Wow, a really great update! I've always liked this journal because you mix urban development with nature very well. There is just one thing: if I were you, I'd change the default Maxis tennis courts (picture 7.5) with some from the STEX. I think pegasus has released some nice ones. That's my only criticism Other than that, everything looks perfect!

All my residential suburbs are grown, so yes the dutch houses are infact grown aswell (although I think they are available as ploppable somewhere, cant remember where though)!!! Ok then, now onto the update!!! I actually have a fairly large update for everyone today. The update is going to be on the newly completed areas of Oakwood and the Ampton Downtown district. You may rember these areas showcased in there unfinished state when this CJ was first started. If not that is ok because now they are fully finished and have been improved!!! So whithout further to do... heres the update: 

8.1- Lets begin with this small sub-division that is nestled among the hillside.

8.2- A closer view of the area...

8.3- Lets make our way into Oakwood proper...

It looks like you have a verry efficiant network! By the way I ownloaded gascooker houses but they never build. I have a huge city of 34,000 and still not a tinny building from gascooker.

Nice job with those highway and railroad systems. They look great with the underpasses and sloped walls. Midtown looks great, too, just a little off-center being on the right side of all the development. No problem, though I'm sure, development should pop up all around the area now!

Wow, the housing in the suburbs is great! I like how the buildings are one style, but there still isn't too much repetition.

I love your suburbs, you do a great job with the road layouts. The rail lines are also really good, I like how the train tracks make their way through the development. The midrise district looks really good too!

The only thing that could make your city look better is farmland. It's amazing how much farmland can add to a region.

Great update and nice city!!! The areas of Oakwood and the Ampton Downtown district are very realistics!!!
