Hey De Ja Vu.... nice looking flora treatments in the parks. I particularly like the swamp area near the roundabout. The edge looks great. I need to find that mod for Gemini River. Thanks for the ideas.

fabsies55: Thank you! Tbh - I'm a little scared to start development on that side of the region. The main reason for this is because that part is full of small - medium city tiles and are located on a very difficult terrain. But don't worry, I'll start developing it A.S.A.P.

Wow, very nice udpate!!! The development turned out great, I like your choice of buildings for the area... it really flows well!!! In the first overview picture I especially love the berm that lines the perimeter of the city, It really adds great depth and detail to the area!!! The night shots turned out great aswell!!! Hmmm... somethings missing though... Oh yeah, in your original plans you had a lake outlined, I still think you should go through with that, it could look really nice!!! Anyway, awsome update (as always) and ill be lookin forward to more!!!

rklesc: Now that you have mentioned it...it does remind me of a fan laid out on the ground. And it is going to stay in that shape for at lease 2-3 more weeks. (I'm planning to expand the city to the south - over the river.) Thank you for your comment and stay tuned!

shermankim777: Here is the link for the parking lots: NDEX parking lots. Where do they go to work? Well there are a couple of highrises in the downtown area but most sims seek opertunity in the regions capital city: Nagiosaki City. They travel there using the train and I'm planning to connect the two cities with a subway. Thanks for commenting!

Hawkeye9: Yeah my original plan was to build a berm that outlines the perimiter of the city...but I kinda got carried away and now it almost flows throught the middle of the city Anyway I thought about the lake and decided to just dig the damned thing I've surrounded it with flora and now it looks like it's been there for quite a while. Whoah! Update 14 already? Honestly I thought I wouldn't make it past update 10 . I'd like to thank everyone who continoues to support mah CJ

Just for now i'm going to show the progress of Shin Shao, but I plan to show my future plans for the region soon. I plan to build a new harbour city east of Shin Shao...I'm still having troubles naming it hehe (any suggestions?).

I also plan to expand the region to the north, meaning I would have to create a whole new region and import all the city tiles from this region

(Note: I hope you will be able to see the pictures since I'm very close to my maximum bandwidith on photobucket)

So lets get started with this update:

This is the area that I've been working on the past couple of days:

I have built a construction supply depot where my sims can get their constructin supplies:

Here is a view to the right of the depot. We can see the effect of the commercial boost in the area...

...and here is a view to the right of the depot (many R$$ sims have moved in lately...)

Wow, i love going back and looking at your previous updates when you where just starting this area and then to look at it now!!! It has really come together very nicely and i love viewing teh steps you took to create it (Very glad to see you went on with the lake idea... looks great).
