Wow! I was just graduating from middle school when v3.0 was out!

I didn't even know ST or Sim City existed, and my life was so incomplete without it.

ST has come a LONG way.

I would be shocked if Dirk reinstalls ST 6.0 with a new software, but somehow makes ST look like ST 1.0, except with more options.

Anyways, I am wondering if Dirk is inactive, or is lurking in ST...

And when 5 came out, people also complained, but they mostly complanied about the site not all coming up at the same time(it took a month or so to get the entire site back).

When ST 6 comes out, there'll be probably 5 threads or so that want it changed or they'll leave...or hate the change until new years.

I wonder if the new one will be glossy...or Web 2.0 styled(isn't that a weird term?).

Well, it seems that ST4 was sort of based on ST2 in colour scheme, wasn't it?

I never really liked ST3, it was too dark for my liking, but I loved ST4... shame it wasn't around for long.

I have to say, out of all the previous versions of ST - v5 has got to be my favorite hands down. v4 is a close second, but everything before that was too colorful.

It's always interesting to see what websites looked like before you even knew they existed though - can anyone provide a screenshot of v1, I'd really like to see that.

I'll really miss v5 when upgrade time comes.

I remember when I first joined Simtropolis. The first thing I said, was "I like the banner", now here I am saying, "I don't like it anymore when will it be chaged?".

hmm, I'm interested to see what this new design will be. My favorite was the ST 4.0 design. I've seen all the designs since 3.0 and I can't wait to see what this next design will look like.

Actually, it's not odd at all considering that the ST logo is a foreground image but the rest of the banner is a seperate background image.

And yes, it's even more washed out. Watch it slowly degrade:
