Nice teaser, but i really like your first post. Great suburbs and goodlooking highway. Btw what do you use for the entrances and exits on the highways. It looks nice.

Very interesting, a small humble city/town within the curl of nature. Magnificent!

Well, normally I wouldn't do this, but Woodcrest needs an update. Badly. So this will have to do.

First off, the downtown area I've been slaving on for several weeks now. (sorry for the holes in the water... stupid marrast walls!)

    07.jpg

    At night.

    08new.jpg

View of the eastern side of downtown. The right-most tall tower there is the Woodcrest Port Authority building. The larger pier below it I'm not sure what to do with. Argh, choices, choices! Have a suggestion?

    09.jpg

    Mosaic of the pier.

    10.jpg

    Random view of downtown.

    11.jpg

The downtown loop, named so because it's inside a circular-shaped el-rail line. One of my pet peeves is where it's solid skyscapers, and they're all jammed right next to each other with no room to breathe. I tried my best to avoid that.

    12.jpg

A park across the channel, that the avenue also splits up into.

    13.jpg

A musuem next door to the main rail station in Woodcrest. Much of the artifacts in it were taken from other museums across the country during and after the New Revolution. Various shops, and restaurants surround it.

    14.jpg

The main rail station in Woodcrest for commuters. All of the rail passes underneath it (no, not a subway). The rail line passes under the entire downtown area.

    15.jpg

A plaza in the city's massive Katmai Park.

    16.jpg

An area that I'm working on. When I'm finished, expect to see lots of condos!

    17.jpg

Finally, the Woodcrest International Airport I've been working on. The runway layout is somewhat based on JFK Airport's.

    Another angle.

Also, a few notes, I will make sure to update on a regular basis from now on. I should have realized that by the time I finished up and had actually pressed the play button in SC4, we'd be on ST 7.0 or something. 3.gifOh, and don't worry, there will be more suburbs and nature along the road! Oh and by the way, over the evening when I get some more time I'll start adding a few things, like more backstory. Cheers and merry Christmas everyone!
