"People frequently ask, "When are you going to make it so the player can walk around the city?" or "When are you going to make it first-person?" or from the more technically savvy, "When are you going to have a free camera?" The answer to this question should be clear from the discussion above: we will be able do it when PCs become powerful enough for us to do it to our standards of quality. When that day comes, the decision to implement such a feature and how to implement it will be based on the feature's relevance to gameplay"

The number of celestial bodies visible to the naked eye is seven. The stellar objects visible to naked eyes are the Sun, the Moon and the five planets namely, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn. Earth is a stellar body but since we are on it, it is 'invisible' in the 'sky'

I think the graphics you see in the trailer are the graphics in the game.. if u look at the roads and highways at the start of the trailer they have moving cars that are clearly not real.. also the towers in the banking part look very like google earth 3d models.. so i think it might be using real world models from google earth?.. i think its a much more advanced version of the first game trailer above..
-
Ya im not sure either.. it could be by the sounds of it when they say "its a serious game" .. also here's the trailer for CityOne which looks awesome but like cities xl .. looks are not everything..
-
I think this might be an early version of the CityOne game annouced by IBM today, the graphics look similar to the ones in the trailer for CityOne .. What do you think?%26hl=en%26fs=1%26rel=0%26ap=%2526fmt=18" wmode="opaque">

I came across this on youtube and wondered if this could be used with BAT? If it could this could change simcity for good, i mean then nearly everyone with basic BAT skills could put there own buildings in the game!

Im not sure why you choose to say above in 3diff messages.. but as far as im aware there's no modding to turn SC2K into SC4, i don't think its even near possible.. i'd get a better PC..

Is there a way to avoid peds and cars disappearing?
yellowguy88 replied to mazisky's topic in SC4 Modding - Open Discussion
Ya i don't think there anyway.. and if there was it would prop make the game crash 4or 5 times as much as it already does -

Word, due to its complex formatting, doesn't translate into the forum properly. So if you paste stuff from word into your posts, it's not going to come out right. And, you can't just put pictures in a word document and then copy them into a post, regardless. You need to upload those pictures to the internet somewhere (there's an upload to ImageShack feature right in the post editor) and then post the online version. People can't see pictures from your hard drive. quote> Hey duke, Ya i thought as much after dirk mentioned it but i had uploaded the pic's to photobucket and posted them correctly.. only one showed.. would this also be related to the word problem? -
Originally posted by: belfastuniguy I welcome it and hope other states follow. To me it's not about damaging the institution of marriage, becuase to be honest straight people have been doing that rather well themselves. It is also not about pawning gay couples off with 'civil partnerships' it's about allowing them the right to avail of a legal union that others take for granted. No one is saying that religious institutions have to perform gay marriage, I wouldn't ask such a thing, but marriage is NOT a religious union, its a legal union and as such I see no reason why it should be denied to gay people who simply want to marry and give the final seal to their relationship. What harm does that do? Does the marriage of a gay couple suddenly shatter the world around you? I think people need to get a grip of themselves if that believe that and all the religious BS that accompanies such moves.quote> Well said my Northern Friend! This is great news...
