Ok, so my trusty board member Jamil Herd left me a message telling me our city has only one bus stop.

The problem is that he failed to mention where the bus stop was. And I don't know where it is because I don't remember ever building it. Now I could just ignore it and get on with my development, but I like to have totalitarian control of my quaint little city. Not to mention I think it's affecting my Mayor Rating.

Anyway

I remember at one point seeing a mod in the stex that would highlight transportation buildings in the traffic data view, but now I can't find it. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Or was that the day I ate those awesome brownies....?

With the new system I could only locate this file "Data View Modd-RH" by first clicking on Modd Files and then I found it on page 8

@yoshimitsu31 -- I've received that message even when I know for certain that there were absolutely no bus stops in my entire city. I opened the budget, checked transportation, and mass transit building maintenance costs were §0! I don't remember whether I decided to plop some stations or just ignore it, but the city survived and I was not impeached. Must be just a glitch. The mass transit stations will light up in the Traffic Data View if you have the NAM, which is highly recommended. Don't bother with the older traffic bugfixes and simulators as they are the original basis for NAM and have evolved into a much-improved mod.

@yoshimitsu & ArchangelMichael: Sometimes Transit Enabled (TE) Lots are reported as bus stops. These include things like the road-blockers, and perhaps other stuff. You may have a TE lot in your cities.

Ferrariguy1000: you are in luck, as the only high quality warships of that size I can find just so happen to be Japanese

If you have not been HERE, you should definitely look around, but there are two spectacular posts (#2 and #4 on the list) that should fit nicely. There might even be another one deeper in.

Some of PEG's older navy lots could be useful (on STEX or PLEX) or the Sim Nation Military (SNM) series ( it has its own category in the LEX search) has some real quality stuff.

Although not the best quality, Tabi made quite a few ships that could work in a crunch.

There is some WWI (yes, thats world war ONE!!!) stuff at N@Bs site, but it is rather archaic and I just LOTed all of those junkers out. Be sure to pick through this so you can find anything I might have missed.

There is a piece in the GLR / train menu that has a draggable starter piece and you use the el.rail to drag along in any direction, don't know about bridges, have not tried yet.

The black building can be found here. after a long search .

Ferrariguy1000: i don't know if you are after the skin of the GLR or asking where the pieces are for the GLR. If it is the second, press tab when you have the starter piece and it will go through each of the pieces.

Actually, if it's the GLR tracks you're looking for, they're part of the new NAM (provided you installed that option). They are the Tram-in-Road (there'e a Tram-on-Road also) pieces that you 'tab' through and plop. They are a separate menu item found near the GLR-in-Avenue icon in the Misc. Transportation menu.

If it's the tram skin your looking for, I think it's this one by Andreas Roth.
