mrb...

EP1 Update 1 is the name of the update for Deluxe or Rush Hour (You'll see it referenced as this on the EA site). I've always thought 'EP' stood for 'Expansion Pack' since Rush Hour was an  expansion for SimCity4 and '1' because it was the first (and only) expansion. So EP1 is actually Rush Hour and EP1 Update 1 is the patch for Deluxe/Rush Hour. Hope that makes sense...

Cornoosh...

What you are actually looking for is the SC4Update4BAT that is the patch for Rush Hour/Deluxe that allows night lights to show. That patch is on the EA site where you'll need to register and log in to see the BAT page link. Or it is availabe through the Support section at SC4Devotion here or on the site that ArchangelMichael mentioned.

If you are trying to update your game (EP1 Update), you need to log in to the EA site. The update link will be in the top right section. Or it is also available at SC4Devotion.

Note: You do need an updated version of Deluxe/Rush Hour (that's the EP1 Update) to install the night light patch (that's the SC4Update4Bat patch). Hope this helps...

I am looking for the following:

znpscjSuisei4.jpg

The turquoise building on the left which I believe is by cerulean, but I don't know the name in the picture above.

Also:

znpscj806tn.jpg

The white building on the beach in the picture above.  I do not know the creator of this building.

And lastly:

centaurusyg8.jpg

The last building is another turquoise building that is next to the white building I requested further above. it is in this picture directly above.  Also I believe by Cerulean.

I know that the turquoise buildings no longer exist as ZIP files on STEX or anything like that, but if anyone out there has any of these buildings just siting in their plugin files, please be so kind as to msg me and send me to them.  All photos from the CJ Zanapolis.  And I'm sorry to all the BSC members who'm I've already stressed over this.  I have discovered one building by Cerulean from one kind soul before though, so I know these buildings must be out there.  Any comments that hint at the whereabouts of any of these buildings that are not CAM versions of the buildings, are greatly appreciated.  Again, sorry if I waste anyone's time by posting this, I'm just desperate is all.

@Neonsim:  I believe that version of the Shinjuku Park Tower was created by nihonkaranws.  I thought it was on the STEX, but I cannot seem to find it.  Nihonkaranws is a regular poster on Simtropolis, and even has a BAT development thread in the BAT Forums, so you may try directly there in Nihonkaranws's Studio or through a personal message to nihonkaranws.

What really hurts is this one:

Another Shinjuku Park Tower

This along with several other Shinjuku towers and Tokyo landmarks used to be available from the Yahoo! briefcase of a now broken Japanese webblog called "Hiboiroiro" that used to be at http://tikitiki.way-nifty.com/hiboiroiro/2006/12/post_5bc8.html  Unfortunately, that original webblog no longer exists, and I have no idea to find this again.

If you use Maxis original terrain, just pick up the file Maxis_DiagonalFix in your plugin folder.

If you use Cycledogg terrain mod, just pick up the file CP_DiagonalFix_STANDARD in your plugin folder, where the terrain files are located.

Delete the other files.

Can anyone tell me where to find the rocks like you find in many CJs in river borders (usually it's used with JRJ ploppable water)? Thx.

yahwn:  try these ---->   LINK

edit: I'm looking for some (8-10) 2x2 or 2x3 or 3x3 buildings that aren't too tall (2 stories max), and fit well into a suburban neighbourhood.

Come visit my CJ!

@Filipek54: This DJEM is compatible with any terrain mod, and the download contains instructions for installation.

@yahwn: There are several ploppable rocks available.  Sorchin made a package of several ploppable decorations, including six different types of rocks.  Cyclepuppy (or cycledogg) also made a few other rocks like the gray ones mentioned by De Ja Vu: orange sandstone, brown, and white.  And finally, Jeronij made some white and mossy green rocks that go great with ploppable water and Dedgren's waterfalls and rapids.

@De Ja Vu: SimGoober's small homes and townhouses & rowhomes are very nice.  The dependencies required are some of the most common ones, so if you use a lot of custom content there's a strong chance you already have them.  Use SC4Tool, or open them in the Lot Editor to make sure.

Hi all - longtime lurker and downloader, first time assistance seeker...

I'm looking for low density Brick Houses - I'm making a classic midwestern city, heavy on brick buildings. I'm using CP's awesome 19th Century Houses, as well as SG's houses and some of Mattb325's cottages, all of which work really well in my suburbs.

The problem is, they are mostly wooden houses, and they look out of place in my urban areas where I'm trying to blend low-dens with medium brick apartment buildings (JBSimio, SG, etc). I grew up in a city neighborhood of brick bungalows and apartment buildings, so that's the vibe I'm going for.

I've searched the LEX and the STEX, but can't seem to find what I'm looking for. If anybody has any suggestions, I would really appreciate it.

Thanks!

I'm looking for two dependencies and simply can't find them. Only the first is imperative. The second is optional.

PEG_ Offset-Peeps_PROP

BSC Park Textures

Thanks

PEG_ Offset-Peeps_PROP.dat is included with his Great Lighthouse of Alexandria.  If you don't want to use the lighthouse, just remove all the other files except the one you need.  The Lighthouse is awesome, but the custom query sound is.... well, you'll find out. 2.gif

BSC park textures, or more accurately BSC_Park_Textures_zDefault.dat is included with the BSC Parks v2 Base Set.  You can choose different textures for the BSC Parks -- and any other lot that uses them -- by downloading an additional Texture Set.  If you elect to download the additional textures, be sure to use only one of them, and use it to replace the _zDefault.dat.  All of the texture .dats use the same instance id's, so if you leave all of them in your plugins folder, the only one you will see is the default texture (red diamond-shaped pavers) because it will be the last one to load.

Um, I am not exactly sure if this is possible but I am looking for a diagonal texture for rail, I would like to have a little bit of dirt or gravel towards the middle that extends a short amount beyond the boundaries of the rail. The giant blocky diagonals look so annoying that I used the no dirt mod or something like that but it completely got rid of all the dirt around rail and surface networks by landfill and agriculture areas. I am content with the dirt for straight sections I only want the diagonals fixed. I thought I saw it somewhere but it might have been from an overhanging park.

Edit: Never mind this post, I checked the BSC for textures (for dependencies) but not only did I find the textures needed, I also found a mod that replaces the dirt with zone and wealth dependent textures while keeping the agriculture and landfill sidewalks unchanged.

"Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit. But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. For to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, and to another the word of knowledge according to the same Spirit; to another faith by the same Spirit, and to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit... But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually..." 1 Corinthians 4-11
