I'm surprised Abcvs hasn't moved the entire contents of the last 3 pages or so into a dedicated...

The offical Binary/ Hexadecimal usernames (mostly to rip off cockatoo), muffinbar, various international confectionary/ chocolate debates, wheelbarrows and or measuring cups and New Zealand native bird discussion thread. In fact that sounds like a good idea for a thread...

EDIT: It just changed again... I'm pretty sure it's Skigeek that's doing all this, she's the only admin on-line at the moment. 41.gif

Today I was informed by a little birdie that 'O Tannenbaum' is not what we thought it was.  Apparently, the song was mistranslated.  The original song was called "Oh Trixie Tree."  Unfortunately, we have lost most of the original manuscript, but the birdie was kind enough to provide me with a fragment of what we have left of the dear song.  He asked that I share it with you all this day. 3.gif

sHmm, what about a Yorkie? Now that is a candy bar, i was so happy when they were finally sold down here. They are so good. Those from Ireland and Britian should know what i mean.

Mr Abcvs, yesterday i walked into a Aldi and they were selling Moros. 3.gif I bought a whole handful and scoffed them.

Oh Ski, it not across the pond for me, its down under 4.gif The Mars bars completely trashes the Milky Ways any day of the century. I was so disspointed when for a couple of months them and snickers werent being made 15.gif

I know its not exactly a candy bar but it has chocolate and is a biscuit. The humble Tim Tam is the best biscuit in the world. Even the Oreo knows its place. http://www.about-australia-shop.com/images/gr200timtams.jpg

And the best way to eat one, Tim Tam straws!

Out with it, then!  You'll get no Milky Mars bar until you do.

And for the record, cocoa confections made with between 20% and 50% dark chocolate are the best 3.gif.quote>

masochist:  I see you have grasped the situation entirely correctly.

Deathtoall:  Yup I was just gonna say something about using them as a straw to suck up ya hot chocolate...

6.gif   Noooooooo!   Say it isn't so!

Oh by the way I forgot to mention...   I am now wireless...  just got a brandy new adsl modem so the 15m cable from the hallway running under the dogs bed and into the lounge to connect my laptop has now been retired...  9.gif

Not that I would dream of introducing a new topic of conversation of course...   12.gif

Well, I may disagree with you about the Milky Ways (the US ones are great), but oh my god oh my god TimTams are just FABULOUS.  I love the double coated ones, but since I live in Japan I can only get them in the winter months (summer months, they mysteriously vanish off the shelves, as if they melt away in the hot, humid summer time air...).  Boy, are they good.

So are those the same things as "Doughnut holes?"

Cause those are delicious. Infact...I'm going to get some now.

And how is it we've discussed chocolates and candy bars so far without mentioning the greatest one around? Three Musketeers!

That's less of a Trixie than it is a warning label.  Kind of like a, what, a "Warnrixie"?

Speaking of beavers, am I the only one here who thinks the beaver character in the first Narnia movie should have had a great big Canadian accent rather than a Scottish one?

Just wondering...

ISF

*Edit:  Was it a Scottish accent?  I can't remember...
