2008 Trixie Awards

I've been trying to come up with some creative Trixies but my creative juices just don't seem to be flowing. I will keep trying to come up with a few good ones. I have put in quite a few nominations in the pre-set catagories. But I would like to do a few that I can come up with on my own. *Puts on her thinking cap*

Okay, so no one has actually submitted that one.    We are getting lots of nominations but not that many of the fun, ad-hoc nominations.     When we suggested info you could include, we didn't mean to turn off the creative flow. 

I haven't done an actual count but it appears as if the ad-hoc nominations are less than 3% of the total received so far, which is much less than previous years.

But to celebrate 1000 + nominations, it seems the signature bandit has decided to restore the 2008 Trixie banner to the signatures of those who kept the original image. Funny how things work out…

I can't claim to know firsthand what the final count was last year considering I was not online looking at the counter the instant before nominations closed, although 1091 has been the consensus from the administration.

Even  if it was 1092, it doesn't matter. We still passed it this year.

Now, I cannot possibly fathom how the hell nursey-boy has come up with 52 different things to nominate people for, but he certainly seems to be bragging about it quite a lot.

Remember, it's not about how many nominations you make, it's about how many you receive.

Well, actually, it's about how many awards you win, but nominations are good too.
