Well now that this thread has been made into an official "Show Us Your..." Thread by the staff, I may as well show you some roundabouts/intersections of mine...

A avenue roundabout I made before a avenue roundabout was ever made:

The same location, now with the new NAM avenue roundabout:

Highway terminus.  Its a large intersection.

Good intersections, all.

Here's what I've got:

This is a 4-way intersection.  It includes MIS slip lanes, so that cars turning right (in RHD) can avoid going through the traffic light.

I have managed to intersect diagonal streets with diagonal OWRs.  I used the stubs left over from Diagonal GLR-in-Avenue puzzle pieces to create split diagonal avenues.  I used diagonal street puzzle pieces to connect to the split avenues and cross under the highway, then I connected OWRs to the split avenues.

Here are the Diagonal GLR-in-Avenue puzzle pieces at work again.  This time, I have connected diagonal RHW-4s to the split avenues.  This is a workaround, since I currently can't connect a diagonal road at-grade to a diagonal RHW.  Since this is supposed to be a rural junction, IMO it's a real shame those traffic lights have to be there, but that's how it is.

Yea well roundabouts dont have to be with aves, I use streets.  Separate your roundabouts with 7 notches of street, and it's pretty epic.  This isn't my town but its based on the same pattern.  Considering there's the subway in the center of every other roundabout makes for a chunk less traffic.

all i got to say roundabouts are not a bad idea for roads with uneven traffic flow and large volume you can see this if you have ever been to los angeles are where there are many intersections that are to busy for protected left turns but many people still need to get on the streets leading to 5+ minute waits to turn all day. In situations especially where there is more than just 4 ways intersections become cumbersome hazardous, scary, and barely usable i know of 2 such intersections that i see regualarily and they are scary and no lik9es em so in this situation in particular roundabouts are superior to intersections

yeah the only problem about round abouts is that they have more accidents.

@danielcote: Im not sure if they have more accidents, but accidents at roundabouts are usually less dangerous than those at traditional intersections, for collisions at roundabouts are usually at an angle, whereas those at an intersection are usually T-bone collisions, which are much more dangerous!

All the intersections were for experiment only in an experiment city with nothing but the intersection.
