Welcome to Kitchener.  This is my first attempt at a City Journal here with Simtropolis.  I have been a part of this for quite awhile and decided that I would give it a go.  This whole process started when I decided that I wanted to put in a bid for this years Simlympics.  Although I did not get the nod I am continuing on with my City with the hopes that maybe, just maybe, Kitchener will be worthy of hosting the Simlympics in the future.  Here we go:

It has been a hustle and a bustle around the city of Kitchener lately as they continue preparations for their bid to host the Simlypics.

coolguy.gif"Things are going smoothly around the city as we continue construction," Mayor Daddio stated this morning during his daily press conference. Official photos have now been released for the latest updates on Kitcheners progress.

Located in the picture directly below is the East Kitchener Transportation Hub (EKTH). Due to recent security issues throughout the world Kitchener has made travel throughout the Simlypic Venues accessible only via Monorail, Buslines and Subways. Each of these have Hubs that are outside of the venues in order to provide security screening prior to accessing the main routes within the venues.

Additional pictures will become available within the next couple of days that detail the transportation network. There are no roads that will be accessed by traffic from outside of the security zone. Roads that you see currently are only accessible within the main venue routes.

The EKTH is the main parking area to the East  and South Venues that serves as main parking for the Simlypic Stadium, Baseball / Softball, Cricket, Football (Soccer) and the Opening and Closing Ceremonies. Keep in mind that all venues will be accessible via all transportation hubs.

Truly fantastic. Well Simcity'd and well 'shopped. Though, putting multiple screenshots on one image limits what can be seen a bit, espoecially if you don't use the full 800x600 allowed.

Other than that, your facilities are really good!
