I've always known that you were a pretty established lot editor, but this whole project is turning out to be one awesome creation. Man, it just looks incredibly realistic with all of the car props on the roads, and backyards with plenty of detail. Actually, everything you've made so far is realistic, but those two things were the most notable ones. Looking forward to see much more of this!

You made it almost look like my hometown Van Nuys CA, with the streets and the wide boulevards and the sidewalks, and I like the commercial service businesses along the street. P.S. , Can you put a KFC Restaurant in the In Progress area ???

Let's try to vote on it and agree about it !!!!!

You are welcome to make suggestions about what you would like to see in a CJ however it is up to the author to decide what and what not to include. - abcvs

Wow this is neat, so my question is are these roads functional or are they plopped with the car props already on them?  I'd like to see the traffic signals you come up with.

At any rate, it looks great and is a unique perspective on building in SC4. It almost makes me thinking of building towns in model railroading and kitbashing the buildings, roads, etc., for the town where the railroads go through.

Looking more at your map, I like your plan for the small town. It looks like Rte. 1 goes through town without actually going downtown, kind of like some smaller towns I've visited in the midwest.

I am thoroughly impressed! Wonderful updates! If the roads and avenues are not transit enabled, it may be a good idea. This would make turn lanes longer and more functional maybe.

It still looks wonderful and is exactly how my hometown avenues are in the more, high traffic areas.

Yaaaaay. It looks alot more to scale than normal Sc4, but I hope you use the advantage of no grid - more curved throufares etc.

    Great work./

Dude, calm down. If Heblem wants all that than he'll include it. He's got the thing all planned out.

(Over excited posts have been archived -abcvs)

Heblem: Love the town, the planning is so great and the town looks wonderful, how long did it take you to think of this and design the layout?

Were those 10 posts really necesary, supercity124?

(No they were not - abcvs 20.gif)

    Heblem:

I really like your project, it gives an interesting approach to making cities and towns in sim city 4, and gives it a pretty lifelike look. Keep at it!1.gif

Heblem: Wow, that intersection is awesome, I like how the traffic signals look. I know this is a lot of work, but I can't wait for more!! I can't wait to see what you do with the interstate highway. This is looking like a great small town!

SuperCity124: There's a fine line between having good suggestions and just plain being bossy. The extreme multiple posts hurt your cause as well. Since you've got all these ideas, why don't you make your own CJ rather than high jacking someone else's?

SuperCity124: Next time, think before you act. Spamming a CJ with ten posts making plans for things to be built isn't a good idea. Although it's helpful to the creator to give suggestions, remember that this is their own CJ, not yours, so don't expect to see your requests fulfilled after that.

Anyway, back to what really matters! The first major intersection makes its appearance, and it looks great! Both the textures and signals really bring an American feel to it. All of the new commercial buildings look nice, too. 9.gif
